Aaaand the cycle starts again. @telstra visited, confirmed it was an @NBN_Australia issue & took detailed notes & photos of speed tests which rule out modem issue. Said I’d need an NBN tech visit. So instead today, naturally, I get a text from Telstra saying all is fixed.

@sunrisesister @hazelblackberry Oh yeah. You can probably drop down to a fairly cheap plan. I’m on unlimited, top speed NBN — but I use it. We Stream nearly everything in my house. Sometimes other half will be streaming Netflix in 4K in the media room while I’m streaming on my iPad.

@NBN_Australia has been non existent today. Internet drops every 15 minutes or so and sometimes stays down for 10 minutes. Infuriating to say the least

@Telstra Your online chat service stinks...staff taking ages to reply.We have our NBN modem already.Its taken hours to get help and after being customer for years...want to change to NBN.its 10.38 & and want this done now..have to be up early for work!

@Telstra have been trying to speak to a human for over a month to get NBN installed and wow 1000 messages “like texting a friend” what a joke! 1 month of circles! This is the worst customer service experience EVER!! #whereismynbn

@Optus is the a known issue with Fetch streaming? I’m on Optus NBN and have no issues with any other internet/streaming services. Streamed channels not reliable, on demand (e.g. BBC catch-up) not working at all. Done soft reset, still broken.

Yeah I give up - my neighbour had nbn as of 3 weeks ago and apparently I can't get it installed until April 2021 despite being in the same building as her? That's complete bullshit. Guess I have to stick with my wireless 4GX network until then...

I am no fan of the NBN but the further investment of $3.5 billion defies logic. 5G is coming with very quick download speeds and cable infrastructure. It’s pouring good money after bad. You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.

@RoshDigital Outages coming from the TPG network are listed in the service status page while outage caused by the NBN network are posted on their website. About the outage, as per NBN Co, the issue is due to a local power outage and there's no declared restoration time right now -Mel

@MeckeringBoy I don't necessarily disagree but your nbn with 10,000 Mbps is fancible. No one was ever going to deliver that. You can get it but it would always have cost a bomb. To many parts in the network to deliver for everyone
