Julian 🇦🇺 (@JKRLMazur) reported from Cessnock, New South Wales@DoctorKarl Damn straight. We’re 20 years behind with the NBN. We could have been world leaders yet now I think we’re out of the top 20 in terms of speed.
-
Luke Duckett (@Duckman_1993) reported from Millfield, New South Wales@Aussie_BB I think i may have not had This service delivered properly when NBN came yesterday 😳 I
-
Justin Holland (@novahollandia) reported from Maitland, New South Wales@Telstra spoke to a technician. Apparently a problem with the line. #NBN involved ( God help us). Appointment now booked for (Drum roll....) 14th April Seriously? I suppose the NBN technical support can't be faster than the #NBN.

Justin Holland (@novahollandia) reported from Maitland, New South Wales@Telstra hi, my wife's NBN has been down for 2 days. She's rung several times only for her call to ring out. Pretty hard to run a business with no NBN.
-
Julian 🇦🇺 (@JKRLMazur) reported from Cessnock, New South Wales@ScottMorrisonMP you lot have done your bit on cracking down on the Internet by giving us this shitty version of NBN. Can’t stream video and type on the net half the time with this shit.

Jay (@TheGreenGoat79) reported@bobslidelx @JacintaAllanMP I've got 2 more weeks on current project than have about 20k of drilling left in sydney (installing goverment fibre optic network, like nbn but not ****) Then hopefully at the end of this year start of next we are either doing ali ce springs to darwin or toowoomba to chinchilla
-
Ad Bull (@Adakole2Francis) reported@Chude_ND1 @CCSoludo If e sure for them make they try this kind nonsense where NBN dy do their national Convention. Kegite is never and has never been a violent group.
-
Chris Young (@Chyoung1) reported@SandyXiaotong Don't ever forget the NBN.....this fool decided that fibre to the house was stupid and uses old phone lines.....some people experienced dial up speeds! It's still be worked and now over $50 billion!
-
Salvator Mundi (@thelostleonardo) reported@EnergyWrapAU NBN generates revenue and pays down its costs over time. How can you compare that to NDIS which is a huge ongoing cesspool of fraud and waste.
-
Max (@diss_presso) reported@BrowntownBrew @robb_j_m But real world demand was lower as no zoom or Netflix. But anyway - it’s moot. The government could buy every Australian household a starlink dish (2.5x faster than NBN) for <$6B - and we’re still not finished, having spent 10x that. The doomed NBN had the absurdist aim of connecting every sleepy country town with top shelf fibre whilst legally enforcing slow internet in our metropolitan centres (the only places where fibre is even economically viable). This is exactly what the libs predicted at the time and were ridiculed for it. How about just connect the high population centres (you know, the ones who actually need the internet for their livelihoods) and let rural people move to the city if they want 1gbps, and then later spent a few billion buying the rest starlink if we really wanted to continue pissing money up the wall (or just letting them buy it themselves, with their own money, if they really wanted it). You aren’t angry enough.

Andrew Mcnaught (@AndrewMcna12272) reported@KatyKray73 1/2 Now, Katy, you have to remember that Labor across the country is good at announcements. That they never carry them out is beside the point. In Qld Miles had a 'Labor back of coaster' (remember Rudd and NBN) idea that Labor would have state owned/run petrol stations.
-
OptoIsolated IO (@optoio) reported@eevblog Yeh its almost never the ISP. it's almost always the NBN. No opportunity for whipping up a Starlink on the roof? :P
-
loksta!🗣 ❤️. . (@locky82903378) reported@ScreamyB0I @TheIshikawaRin Totally ridiculous to think they all be taking phones that don’t work no signal cell towers in space , no nbn internet cable for a router to plug into , no wi fi on board , the weight of the phones chargers cables etc x 4 is stoopid when every gram counts . Total sci fi nonsense
-
TK (@tk_bulba) reportedAfter numerous issues with @Telstra NBN were decided to give @Aussie_BB a try. Never again. For a company that prides itself on customer support this is the worst connection experience I’ve encountered. Allegedly now an NBN wide issue is preventing new connections.
-
Carmel Fay (@CarmelFay) reported@robb_j_m Starlink. A satellite connection through the NBN in our rural area was a bit of a nightmare. Starlink is reliable, no limits on usage, and we never get throttled. I'll never go back.
