@TurnbullMalcolm @rhysam That is pathetic drivel @TurnbullMalcolm. Australia was on track for a world class FTTP NBN until you butchered it with a second grade service that has us languishing below 60 in world rankings. #AusPol

“NBN is planning some maintenance in your area”. The window is Monday to Friday next week. Outages expected to be 5 hours and 8hrs. No indication of when during the 109hr window. $50 says @NBN_Australia completely **** this up again.

Dave Hall (@skwashd) reported from Newstead, State of Victoria
@jenny_sinclair @NBN_Australia Supposedly. From Thursday afternoon until last night it was down because some muppet screwed up the maintenance on Thursday. The whole town was effectively down. NBN Co didn’t care.

Dave Hall (@skwashd) reported from Newstead, State of Victoria
@kelvincent18 @NBN_Australia I know where the tower is. The maintenance was completed on Thursday. That’s when the problems started. It isn’t overselling. It is botched maintenance.

@belindasmilne @geoffrey_payne @AlboMP NBN working with the copper mess that Telstra left. Had been bodging up our phone service for ever. Ask anyone who had a clue, should have been fibre. But no! Had to go ‘cheap’? Screwed Australia’s digital future.

@UsmanAl67280047 @Aussie_BB Relax dude. Aussie don't control the infrastructure. It's the shitty opticomm network that's at fault here. Blame your building management for deciding to use a private provider instead of the nbn

Elaine Davies (@Northernpommy) reported
@Aussie_BB You organised someone to come today to check out my NBN i hope that i wont get charged for this if this is a major problem.?

Sulphurcocky🦜 (@Sulphurcocky1) reported
NBN Co: are aware of some instances of lightning strikes impacting some components of fibre-to-the-curb (FTTC) network equipment. >Advise customers to unplug all connections to their NBN network connection device including power, telephone cable and Wi-Fi gateway during a storm.

delpuerto10 (@Delpuerto10) reported
@AlboMP @vanbadham Telstra doesn’t accept responsibility for the state of their phone pit, as they are rented out to NBN. They insist it isn’t their problem
-
J Hannigan (@sgtheadhole) reported
@Matthewthemorg @AlboMP You dont get the NBN from a telstra network. Anyway, its a scalable upgradable network. Doesnt make sense to upgrade every thing on the network instantly. It can and will be done over time.

Tyson Moore (@tysmo) reported
@jfmezei @Bryson_M And yet, these are all issues that OpenReach, Swisscom and the NBN figured out. Of course it's going to vary on a line-by-line basis but *these are solved problems*.

@Peter90666913 It’s not Scott’s it’s NBN you idiot

Got a survey from #nbn today about the technician who connected me. He was fine, but no questions about the booking experience which was disgraceful. #fail

Ben Suckling (@SucklingBen) reported
@AlboMP Thankfully my house is serviced by FTTP - 100% reliable since day 1. Everyone I know who has FTTN has had issues, some of which have taken months to rectify and cost NBN (taxpayers) $$$ to fix.
