@kelvincent18 @NBN_Australia I know where the tower is. The maintenance was completed on Thursday. That’s when the problems started. It isn’t overselling. It is botched maintenance.

“NBN is planning some maintenance in your area”. The window is Monday to Friday next week. Outages expected to be 5 hours and 8hrs. No indication of when during the 109hr window. $50 says @NBN_Australia completely **** this up again.

@favfavalore I bought a new iPad from @Telstra with a data only plan..it arrived on Monday but it takes up to 7 days for the sim to be activated..how poor is that for service..luckily I run it off my wifi anyway..but it would have been too bad if the NBN went down and I needed the mobile!

@QuentinDempster NBN is another LibFail. Because if you did the job right in the first place, you would not be able to gift pots of taxpayer money to your mates to fix the problems. Screw it up once, then get on the gravy train for decades.

Tsarina RubyRainbow (@ColouredView) reported
@QuentinDempster @MinhKular Ask all your journo ex-colleagues who wrote story after story in 2010-2015, attacking #NBN, parroting stupidity that no one would ever need fast internet & extolling the virtues of #coppermagic. Our scribblers share much of the blame for Australia’s 2020s slow, costly internet.

Dwight Walker (@dwightwalker) reported
found via my brother who was a Telstra technician that @telstra removed plastic shielding from copper wires which causes corrosion, dropouts and error rates - @NBN_Australia is maintaining Caboolture wires on 25/10/22 0am-6am - hopefully not 3 days down and use shielded copper
