  • LilMrPotatoHead Littlemrpotatohead (@LilMrPotatoHead) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@OptusSport We'd love to enjoy @OptusSport however our @Optus nbn is down for 24-48 hours 👍

  • feelingswell Robert Gavin (@feelingswell) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia @Farmgate138 I like that “experiencing some issues” have had NBN for some years now. We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

  • leah_galvin Leah Galvin 🍎🍒🥑🥦🥕🌽🌰🍓🧀 (@leah_galvin) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Wow an NBN outage down till Sunday 6th October!!! It's school holidays and teenagers are struggling. Oh books and outside look good @Telstra

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

  • maxitaxi3333 Queen MaxiTaxi #FreeAssange (@maxitaxi3333) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Exactly, exactly, exactly! If the Labor NBN had gone through, it would be finished by now, NBN FTTP would be there without copper wire problems and, I cannot go on about how bad this decision was. And the cost of FTTP would have been equal to this mess. @TurnbullMalcolm

  • TasGreg Greg C (@TasGreg) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@BevanShields @AntonEnus "But has no modelling to support the claim" Just like Direct Action emission reduction or the cost of ALP NBN or the $660billion ALP debt blowout etc etc #FreePassToBS

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

  • suzanne_cass 💧Suzanne Cass ☘️☘️🇮🇪 (@suzanne_cass) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NickRossTech @NBN_Australia My FTTN is crap. My ADSL was faster.

  • AnthonyPress Tony Press (@AnthonyPress) reported from Tinderbox, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia 1. These slow speeds are common across different service providers in the district. 2. The many times I’ve pursued this topic it becomes a duck-shoving exercise: NBN Co. says it’s the service provider; the service provider says it’s lack of capacity at the NBN tower.

@NBN_Australia anything being done about the Reservoir, Victoria outage? I bought new mesh WiFi equipment to install... I'd like to...

  • MarcelDimoski Mars Oz (@MarcelDimoski) reported

Thanks to @SpaceX starlink NBN will be dead in rural areas and even city areas where connection speeds are slow. Even those in 4G areas sky muster and even cable will all need to switch to starlink. Thanks to @TurnbullMalcolm NBN will loose even more customers. Class action ACMA

  • duffythewriter Jo-Ann Duff (@duffythewriter) reported

@Telstra happily watching a Netflix series I’m into then BOOM, no damn NBN again in Kirrribilli. Not cool.

  • JaneWar08883505 Jane Ward (@JaneWar08883505) reported

@BabaTOlanguage @samanthamaiden @newscomauHQ He is woeful. Federal have privatised so much they don't have much left to do. But what they are left with is a mess. Aged care, robodebt, NBN. The states and council provide public service. Meanwhile he is weak. His ministers weak. All tears and sick leave.

  • DoodyDarren Darren (@DoodyDarren) reported

@TurnbullMalcolm @auspost This same argument is why we have a public NBN, & why it must remain publicly owned. No private entity would willingly service the more costly areas of the country. Certainly not at the same price as cheap, easy to service areas. Yet the coalition opposed it, then nobbled it.

  • ktthscenery han⁷🧷🕷 (@ktthscenery) reported

wow I rly love my expensive *** 5G nbn that totally works all the time and never has any problems 😐😐😐

  • Ms_Stevenson_VP Ms_Stevenson (@Ms_Stevenson_VP) reported

@Internode Checked now and not an NBN issue either. Thanks for looking into this for us. Time to ring out techy friend. :-)

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

@ktthscenery That sounds very annoying indeed, Han. That's not the experience we want for you. If you are having service issues it's best to speak to your provider. They will be able to test the line to check for faults. If the fault is with nbn they will let us 1/2

  • cold_shuga Katrina L. Hill (@cold_shuga) reported

@JasmineQuilter @samhudson46 I think you need to talk to someone ... regional are suppose to have appropriate service. A friend has nbn as a satellite hook up instead. I use to visit Maccas and use their wifi to watch things ... and the library. Mine was copper until a year ago (now I am in the city tho!)

  • uniqueautoart Unique Autoart (@uniqueautoart) reported

@iPrimusAU why am I paying for a service that’s not working? Your NBN service lately has been absolute garbage. What is the problem? Why are we and many others having constant drop outs? After 20 years I think we may need to change over. The constant drop-outs is driving us mad.
