  • leah_galvin Leah Galvin 🍎🍒🥑🥦🥕🌽🌰🍓🧀 (@leah_galvin) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Wow an NBN outage down till Sunday 6th October!!! It's school holidays and teenagers are struggling. Oh books and outside look good @Telstra

  • feelingswell Robert Gavin (@feelingswell) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia @Farmgate138 I like that “experiencing some issues” have had NBN for some years now. We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

  • LilMrPotatoHead Littlemrpotatohead (@LilMrPotatoHead) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@OptusSport We'd love to enjoy @OptusSport however our @Optus nbn is down for 24-48 hours 👍

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

  • TasGreg Greg C (@TasGreg) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@BevanShields @AntonEnus "But has no modelling to support the claim" Just like Direct Action emission reduction or the cost of ALP NBN or the $660billion ALP debt blowout etc etc #FreePassToBS

  • AnthonyPress Tony Press (@AnthonyPress) reported from Tinderbox, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia 1. These slow speeds are common across different service providers in the district. 2. The many times I’ve pursued this topic it becomes a duck-shoving exercise: NBN Co. says it’s the service provider; the service provider says it’s lack of capacity at the NBN tower.

Thanks @NBN_Australia and @dodo, ive been moved in less than 4 days and already my NBN is broken. Stellar reliability (not). Why bother paying for the highest package possible when it doesn't even work?

  • AngelaKorras Angela Korras (@AngelaKorras) reported

Stupid NBN did a planned upgrade in the street and wiped out my internet. So now on 4G #Australia

  • scott_gretchen Gretchen (@scott_gretchen) reported

@MichelePlayfair @Cloudflare Super unexpected! Great customer service, internet connected within an hour and not a single drop out... I'm going to continue the experiment, but it could be that a 4G dongle is better than the NBN

  • TH3xR34P3R Robert Koganov (@TH3xR34P3R) reported

Took out my main dlink 24 port switch see if I still get some connection issues since I think that 3 port cyberdata one I have dedicated to my camera POE switch may be having issues. Anything else is waiting to see what the nbn tech finds at street level tomorrow.

  • BelongAU Belong (@BelongAU) reported

@patoabarcad Oh no Patricio, delays are the worst 😔 There have been some recent troubles with nbn appointment which may explain the changes. Flick us a quick DM and we'll follow up 🤓 -Rhys

  • w00kiee77 Ben Parker (@w00kiee77) reported

FFS... @Optus is upgrading their mobile network around my place AGAIN, only a few weeks after their last "upgrade" went over a week past its estimation and where I was stuck with non-existent reception and nearly as bad NBN over the entirety of the period...

  • Tim76777652 Tim (@Tim76777652) reported

@GuardianAus NBN what a joke. Cant even watch movie at home the internet is that bad.

  • scott_gretchen Gretchen (@scott_gretchen) reported

@MichelePlayfair @Cloudflare Amy is all kinds of awesome! I left my house furious with the unusable NBN I have... & got the most amazing customer service at Telstra along with a solution (that costs considerably less than paying for cable to the house). Yay Telstra (didn't see that plot twist coming did ya?)

  • PagewoodCoach Rubens Camejo (@PagewoodCoach) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NickRossTech The market for this? Movies! 3d films has been done but, imagine.. One such movie streamed in all cinemas showing it from a central location. 2 way coms? Not before 2040 and 9G internet. Bandwidth is the issue to overcome with this tech. 1m chats would sink our NBN G5 for movies

  • alexanderswift Alexander Swift (@alexanderswift) reported

@GuardianAus Why’s that the NBN’s problem to solve?
