If the Labor NBN had gone through, it would be finished by now, NBN FTTP would be there without copper wire problems and, I cannot go on about how bad this decision was. Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, Tasmania@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

daytona (@daytona7th) reported@tim_blee You would think that if you relied on the mobile network to receive payments then you would have a backup should the particular network fail. Maybe have an Optus or Vodafone SIM card handy or re-route your payment system to the NBN? No sympathy for unprepared businesses.

A disgraceful act when we also needed to upgrade to the optic fibre network at the same time. The LNP / Foxtel version of the NBN was another disgraceful failure ....
