Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, Tasmania@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

If the Labor NBN had gone through, it would be finished by now, NBN FTTP would be there without copper wire problems and, I cannot go on about how bad this decision was. And says you tell them work is ongoing but that no estimate is available for when this will be fixed!!! Thanks for the runaround

The company made profit the moment I gave NBN Co and TPG/AAPT the flick. Never have seen consumers been ripped off collectively with the silent approval of a regulator.

I did ask for a refund for the days I have no service. So they promised to fix it within 24 hours. I also made notes, and responded to their feedback email, and summarised my notes.
