@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria
Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

@Foxtel So easy not to choose Foxtel. Crazily overpriced options to get the stuff you actually want. Plus the NBN was nerfed to support Rupert Murdock. Just say no.
-
Jimmy James (@FibreZealot) reported
@NBN_Australia @gscsydney How about creating a great FTTP network, instead of the rotting copper and HFC you have delivered?
-
Chris Murphy (@HighlySpammable) reported
The @NBN_Australia guy was like "This is all done down here. You can hook up the modem, right?" "Yeah, sure" Aaaaaaaaaand several hours later I still can't seem to get the net working. Suspecting it's on him but can't confirm. Shouldn't have let him leave. Regret.

spankyhunter (@Spankyhunter) reported
@NBN_Australia They changed the plans from 40mb upload to 20. While the increased the download speed, it doesn't mean a lot when trying to upload photos & stuff to the cloud. It's just **** that they think upload doesn't matter

TheOtherDibbler (@TheOtherDibbler) reported
@Telstra I spoke with someone, but they were ultimately unable to assist in fixing the problem, so I need to wait for an NBN tech to come in person and sort it out.
-
Simon Finnie (@Lewfinite) reported
@HighlySpammable @NBN_Australia If I've learnt anything from my time getting internet installed, never let them leave until you know it's working.
-
MATE (@beourmate) reported
@Kantankers We can confirm that nbn infrastructure in Civic (ACT) is down. Engineers are on-site as we speak trying to rectify the issue, but no ETA has been provided as yet. We will advise as soon as we receive further updates.

Bill Journee (@mr_billiam) reported
@Telstra I know that the cable fixed line network will be disabled in future for the NBN - but not yet in this area. I just don’t wish to switch at this time & couldn’t get a clear answer.

@heyDejan What stupid morons who would steal a nbn ntd box can't do anything with it
