@rhysam in 2014 they gave Telstra $11 billion for a copper network well past its use by date. The records required to manage that network were not maintained properly over the years and were next to useless, hence trial and error troubleshooting for NBN technicians.

@fictillius The fact nbn had to literally stop provisioning people onto it for awhile was a testament to the absolute jokesters that believed that it could be used. They were literally connecting people and then running out to fix it. Pollies need to stop making engineering decisions.

@VodafoneAU we live in Nerang and our NBN hasn’t been working since around 1130am today. We have reset our modem and we’re on hold for about an hour and 15 mins. Is there a current outage at the moment? :)

Rural & Regional Australia we still struggle to load a google page, to bank online, to zoom. Mobile service and #NBN connected university & businesses in Port Macquarie have been held back by appalling slowness & drop outs. on farms we have thousands of dollars of infrastructure
