I upgraded my internet to a new fancy NBN plan which ended 8 years of unbroken service. I finally got internet after being disconnected since the 9th of July. Without internet my apartment has no communication to the outside world, it's been a blessing and a curse.

I've never had nbn drop out more frequently than @DodoAustralia. Puts up the price and proceeds to get worse.

So the NBN connected to your home but it’s not quite fast enough. Upgrading to a faster speed might be one solution, it’s an ongoing cost & might not fix it. The best way to fix it is to reduce the number of devices using the wifi. What we recommend is extra NBN wall sockets.

But @Telstra said that if there was further vandalism on the w/end (v. likely given location) and a Telstra customer called about no phone service on Monday, it would be “within policy” for Telstra to pass info on to @NBN. 😜😜

Australia’s NBN still relies on outdated market logic favoring providers over people, leaving many underserved. Despite broadband’s essential role, consumers face complexity, poor choice, and low empowerment. We must treat internet as a basic right, not a luxury. #AusPol

@Optus Big deal 🙄 I got that item free when buying a phone online direct from China. Optus is a failure. After 30 years mobile/cable/nbn I was treated v badly. Never again.
