ABC defunding via Murdoch Gov = no live stream comedy ch iPad Its tv only GRrr since Lnp privatised transmission towers in storms I loose ABC TV on iPad it’s secure provided nbn works I’m over Aust tech that’s for some glad I don’t need to access Centrelink online it’ll never wk.

Retweet this if you hate @Telstra. Not only did I have to downgrade my cable internet to nbn (1/2 speed, same price), but a) it doesn’t work and b) their service is disgusting. Been on chat help for 3 h and not a single troubleshooting suggestion yet.

Internet down because lightning fried our NBN box and @NBN_Australia won’t get to us with a replacement until next week. Woefully bad form on their part.

@Telstra I just moved house and my nbn service has not been moved yet. Other option I have is use 4g of the smart modem but the bandwidth has been shaped and it’s way too slow. Sadly, Whole day has gone pass and support failed to get it unshaped.

@amywhodigital This is really two separate questions. NBN is about the connection to the internet. Wifi is a wireless network in your home that connects your devices to your router (which is what is connected to the internet).

@manindotblack Yeah, I know. I just wish there was a single port of call, as in my ISP could just reply words to effect of 'yeah, NBN went tits up in your area, we can only badger and harangue them to hurry up and fix it' if that is indeed the case. As it is both said they had no known outages,

@manindotblack Yeah, I've no idea where the problem might have been. In 9 months of NBN we've had it fall over three times, and each time it's the evening of bad weather and the request for assistance comes early the next day but several hours after it's come back on its own. *sigh*
