  • MikeFitzAU 💧Mike Fitzsimon (@MikeFitzAU) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

PHAARRRRQUE! NBN has been down for hours! And it’s effectively the last couple of banking hours before EOFY! Hot-spotting off the phone it is then.

  • LesStonehouse Politic@l Spinner (@LesStonehouse) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

The Morrison government reminds me of the NBN.. Waste of billions and billions of dollars and almost impossible to fix.. we need another election urgently and we should keep having elections until we get it right #auspol #Labor 🤔😉

  • JoshforQLD Joshua Allan - Australian Community Advocate (@JoshforQLD) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

I am one of 940 volunteers out of more than 25 million Australians who have a white box monitoring my nbn connection speeds 24/7 I have FTTN despite the fact there is a NBN cable running on my street 3-5 metres away from my curb Speeds are too slow #auspol #nbnfail @acccgovau

  • djshaneday 💧 Shane Day 🌱 (@djshaneday) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@geoffrey_payne Yes, it isn't bad for business grade fibre. At home I have NBN FTTP, and the 50Mbps speed. Usually works well. Should be targeting 1Gbps for fibre, though!

  • ebeonline EBE / Matt (@ebeonline) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Still much furniture to be arranged/assembled, and we realised the bed was broken in the move so waiting for new parts from Ikea on the weekend, but we have an NBN connection now so it's all looking pretty good.

  • MarkGreenmantle Mark Greenmantle (@MarkGreenmantle) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia It turned out to be an NBN fault further up the road and took a few hours to fix. Rearranged the day schedule around it.

  • MikeFitzAU 💧Mike Fitzsimon (@MikeFitzAU) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia It appears that there’s ”an outage” affecting ”an area” and I’m in the affected area. I’ll get an sms when it’s back in service. I hope it’s not too late because I want to send two laptops through Windows updates before hitting the road in the morning. Not practical over 4G.

  • BOXEMUP Roxann Coffey (@BOXEMUP) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@bongrrjr @NBN_Australia Frustrating is only half of it. From what I hear from locals in our area who already have it. They are not to happy either. With the amount of problems they have with the net. We might be better off without it.

  • RosehrMarketing 🐔🐧Guidance🦆Photography🐗 (@RosehrMarketing) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra Is there a problem or known wider outage #NBN or #Internet Our Internet runs "Your Broadband service is working in backup mode" with 4mbs download.... #Daisy #Hill 4127

  • birdnoises David Kapernick (@birdnoises) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

    @PaulFletcherMP Fix the NBN !!!!

  • ema71080536 💧Ema (@ema71080536) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

What a stupid country we are! The LNP took Rudd’s future-focussed NBN and turned it into two tin cans joined with copper and string. Now a third world 19th century network with snail mail speed. And the voters accepted this rubbish because they didn’t like Shorten! Fools!!

  • OzSheela Sheela (@OzSheela) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@GoldCoastNurse @QLDLabor @AnnastaciaMP @jackietrad @WgarNews @Biggy1883 @virgotweet @OneLoneVoice4 Even though I am not an LNP voter, when Turnbull was elected I really thought, hoped we would embrace new technologies, grasp the opportunities with renewables, and fix the NBN. Sadly that didn't happen. #auspol

  • bennarama Benedict Coyne for Dickson (@bennarama) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Thx .@TPCandidate Over past 11 months all those issues have come up + long term investment in infrastructure (fix roads & #nbn), #FederalICAC now #ClimateActionNow #StopAdani That’s why we’re urging voters to send Major Parties a Major MSG & #VoteGreensFirst✅🗳 #DicksonVotes

  • Mcali4 liz franklin (@Mcali4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@alexbhturnbull The NBN is sad rubbish unless you got it as FTTP but the fast rail is a great idea and I'd love to see it go ahead. Rail travel fast or slow is my first choice. The Southern Aurora was the way I always travelled from Syd/Mel/Syd .Should never have stopped it.

  • BOXEMUP Roxann Coffey (@BOXEMUP) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia Oh I have been and the dates keeps changing. Its funny how they have NBN around 100m down the road from me yet we are still waiting. #nbnfail

  • smadge1 Stephen Reeves 🔫 (@smadge1) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@JamesPinnell I never plugged mine in, it only ever had telemarketers, and now I’m on NBN, I’d need to buy a compatible handset, just to get called by telemarketers.

  • beclynchqld Rebecca Lynch (@beclynchqld) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

.@JakeSchoermer lists key issues as climate change, transparency, NBN. Highlights zipline as a big @QldGreens @mcberkman win. No mention of housing affordability policy - although I'm going to guess most of the Ryan candidates' forum audience owns homes. #auspol

  • CrayonANZ Dave Holmes 🇦🇺🇬🇧 (@CrayonANZ) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@zyzzyvamedia @Optus Been with @Internode on NBN for two years, never down, always fast. I guess it is some ISP and some location.

  • mairzy3039 💧John Mair QGM (@mairzy3039) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

NBN on the cheap and submarines that can't go underwater. WTF.

  • badgergloveppt Jon Cartwright (@badgergloveppt) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia After years of delays my street was scheduled for March. I've never had Foxtel so mine got moved out to May, and then tonight whilst contractors are doing nightwork it moves out another year. I'm looking for an actual answer please.

  • tigris666 Danial Pearce (@tigris666) reported

Signed up for the free @NBN_Australia FTTP upgrade. Great initiative. Unless. They decide that's also a good time to cancel your existing FTTC, even though your upgrade is 3 weeks away. Also sucks that providers like @Aussie_BB have no way to resolve it for paying customers.

  • jaysimmo3 @jaysimmo (@jaysimmo3) reported

@NBN_Australia Upgrades? 4 years, every month? Either you employ clowns who can’t fix anything, or you are just making it up. Why would my NBN need to go off every month for 4 years? No-one else‘s does that, Alicia. Does yours????

  • midnightmuser1 🖊.Pauline.Yates.🖊 (@midnightmuser1) reported

@cpdm_twt No, this is the first time I've watched it. And I'm only watching it because ever since we switched to nbn, I can't watch netflix while my son is gaming . Something to do with the ping. So much for better service. ☹

  • ricklevy67 Au Purrr , #IStandWithUkraine (@ricklevy67) reported

@Telstra my nbn account has been cancelled because of $1008 of bpay payments that left my bank account but telstra never recieved. Bpay numbers are 7773 2594 057 800 and 7773 2592 157 800 via online banking. Reference number S009686683

  • stevepog Steve the Pirate (@stevepog) reported

@timburrowes campaign email software can definitely handle mass volume. If there was slightly different messaging for user groups (large commercial/residential or NBN/mobile or by data category stolen such as licence number, DOB), you'd break it down into smaller chunks anyway

  • GrahamHawtin Graham J Hawtin (@GrahamHawtin) reported

@mjrowland68 @BreakfastNews Hi Mike, I'm CURRENTLY (!) an Optus customer (mobile ans also NBN internet) and so far nothing at all in terms of comms or advice. This is an absolute gift for its rivals of course....

  • ricklevy67 Au Purrr , #IStandWithUkraine (@ricklevy67) reported

@Telstra Morning. Reference number S009686683. I use online banking and bpay to pay my bills , there is $1008 in bills that I paid via bpay numbers 7773 2594 4057 800 and 7773 3259 2157 800 that left my bank account but was never recieved by telstra. My nbn account has been cancelled

  • wedemandareply M (@wedemandareply) reported

@RichardKGrump @RobMax4 @TPG_Telecom Sadly they are all pretty much the same so I ended up choosing dodo for my cell phone and tpg for home internet. No matter who you are with, unless you’re paying top tier level, you will have slow days and NBN outages will always be an issue.

  • jaysimmo3 @jaysimmo (@jaysimmo3) reported

@NBN_Australia I have on-going outages every month in an inner metro Sydney suburb. Apparently "the NBN is doing work in my area", EVERY month for 4 years, but it never actually gets fixed, nor ever upgraded 🤡 Between Optus and NBN - no answers, just "sorry about that, nothing we can do"

  • VajskiD VajskiDs (@VajskiD) reported

also for the past couple years I've had a damn awful internet speed being 1.2Km away from the node on FTTN. An NBN technology. The speeds received were obtainable on ADSL provided you were close enough to the infrastructure a decade + ago. -->
