M 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 (@ThatAussieMel) reportedSo much for being notified of when the team were coming @NBN_Australia now I don’t know what’s happening with my connection as I’m interstate and my mum couldn’t hang around to see out what they were doing.

durackpl (@durackpl) reported@ChrisEconomist 2/2 The true scale of the off-budget disaster will only be clear when someone aggregates the retained losses across all these investments, as companies do in their financial statements. I've never seen this done, but if the NBN is any guide, the total would be staggering.

Tas Tudor (@tastudor0173) reported@BrentHodgson What's more interest in is the land mines left by a government. The education reforms from RGR, NDIS RGR, NBN RGR just 3 that spring to mind. Abbott should have smashed them all up and we would be in a much better place now with cut down versions. That alone over 10 years must be $500bn.
-
EGP Quantitative (@AggressiveQuant) reportedAs a recent customer of Starlink, this has to be among the biggest runways in business. Only ~500k connections in Australia, apparently still >8.5m suffering through our joke of an NBN... That's just the opportunity in our little tinpot country.
-
BethinCanberra (@ElbK19) reported@Thejimpenman Yet the business minded LNP… $2.4B on #Robodebt $5.5B to cancel the French submarine contract $50B the NOT NATIONAL NBN + 20B more thx directly to Mr Abbott $254B for LNP stage 3 taxcuts over 10yrs - stopped by Labor. Oh wait, is that ur actual beef? Missed out?

Marek Bage. (@MarekBage) reported@JohnnyLydon I just moved to a new NBN provider. While researching, Canstar, Whistleout and others just gave me the same handful of companies to choose from. After asking AI (both Grok and ChatGPT) I ended up with a huge list of potentials with some real good deals. Comparison sites are ****.

Face Palm is the new Face Book (@facepalm8355) reported@LeeroyLives @AngusTaylorMP So looking at that graph, the trajectory of expanding debt started under rudd and gillard and never went down Sounds about right. Looks to start that trajectory after the nbn started construction.
