  • kvgoldsmith Kim V. Goldsmith (@kvgoldsmith) reported from Dubbo, State of New South Wales

@sallquig If I didn't have call assist on my WiFi, I'd have to rely on 1 bar of 3G. That's going to hurt when the NBN is down.

  • kvgoldsmith Kim V. Goldsmith (@kvgoldsmith) reported from Dubbo, State of New South Wales

6 years today since I connected to the world with @NBN_Australia fixed wireless. It's been a bumpy ride to say the least. Lots of broken promises that if it were a marriage would have ended in divorce years ago. #auspol

  • kvgoldsmith Kim V. Goldsmith (@kvgoldsmith) reported from Dubbo, State of New South Wales

With NBN fixed wireless in meltdown (over-subscribed & at capacity), + our mobile blackspot, I finally paid the $1150 for a signal repeater for the house. Non-existent upload speeds this week was the final straw. Mobile download much better, upload a bit better. #nbn #dubbo

  • kvgoldsmith Kim V. Goldsmith (@kvgoldsmith) reported from Dubbo, State of New South Wales

We're staggering #nbn fixed wireless use here today w. the uni student having several hours of online lectures between 9-3. I'm planning uploads & digital content scheduling around those times. Thankfully the Handyman's job isn't digital. This really is shit. #dubbo

  • elwell2000 Andrew Elwell (@elwell2000) reported

Uh, financial review states that "NBN Co is obligated to connect regional Australia using its fibre-to-the-premise broadband network and its $100 million Sky Muster satellites." Exactly _which_ premise got fibre, because it wasn't this one...

  • underthingy Steven McCarthy (@underthingy) reported

@TPG_Telecom Why does the tpg outage page still not have an nbn outage for St Lucia. In fact why is there no nbn outage listed for Queensland? Nbn co is saying there's still 10000+ services affected in qld, surely I'm not the only tpg customer in that.

  • MissDissentEats Jackie McMillan 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ (@MissDissentEats) reported

It would be nice to have the service we pay for @NBN_Australia @iiNet so we can actually use the internet. #NBNfail

  • missrobinson Amber Robinson (@missrobinson) reported

@jacob_633 We have a lot of elderly people in our area who can’t use landlines when the NBN goes down. Plus all of us who work & study from home. We have poor 4G in area due to no mobile tower. Ran 30 person zoom call yesterday off 1 bar …

  • TPG_Telecom TPG (@TPG_Telecom) reported

@underthingy For more details about an outage, NBN Co will refer you to us, your ISP. About the issue, as of 11:28AM they have advised that the field technician who visited the site confirmed that Energex has reported the power outage. 1/2 -Mel

  • underthingy Steven McCarthy (@underthingy) reported

@TPG_Telecom Hi Mel, it's just a bit frustrating when both parties are passing buck. Nbn co says unplanned power outage (even though all the power has been back for a week), contact your ISP for more information. And you say, it's not us it's the nbn.

  • jacob_633 Jacob Ingham (@jacob_633) reported

@missrobinson Which could be catastrophic in current climate if elderly can’t ring out. I had to help my neighbour a few months ago because a cleaner disconnected her NBN box my accident. Ukraine is terrible but doesn’t mean we can’t complain about anything which is impacting us

  • NBN_Australia nbn™ Australia (@NBN_Australia) reported

Where services are impacted by power outages we are working to deploy generators to support connectivity to as many premises in the area as possible. Please remember, any equipment connected via the nbn™ broadband access network will not work during a power outage.

  • dorman_keith Keith (@dorman_keith) reported

@Optus George. This issue has been going on for over a week. The NBN tech now has. It shown up for two days. And your DMs are taking hours to be returned.

"THIS ISN'T STRANGE, IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE" protest sign says it all. Morrison thinks we've done our bit and that he's a hero for claiming net zero 2050, yet isn't actually doing anything real. Technology-led is BS from the same team who gave us the Multi-Technology-Mix crap NBN!
