@DaveMilbo I was surprised the 2016 election wasn’t about the crap nbn we had been given by the LNP, but alas it was a non issue for most people.

  • hilly_syd gjayh (@hilly_syd) reported

@craigreucassel Definitely not worth the $78mill bonuses @NBN_Australia paid themselves at this rate. Couple this with having @Telstra as your 'service provider' using the MY Telstra app message system and it is frustrating as hell. It is a lottery. It should be a certainty by now.

  • hoddo461 hoddo(peter hodgson) (@hoddo461) reported

@Glenina57 @Telstra @StGeorgeBank I'm with DoDo, never had to wait for more than 1min, the few times I've had to ring. If it's an NBN problem they deal with NBN and fix that within a day. Well spoken polite Latin American staff.

  • pcdegroot Peter de Groot (@pcdegroot) reported

@DaveMilbo @BelindaJones68 They **** up everything and the internet in particular because it has too many services competing with Newscorpse. As Newscorpse finally came on board with the internet, they couldn't ignore it anymore and in fact needed it, suddenly NBN/internet becomes a covid recovery project.

  • tech_is_dead Dr Elizabeth Stark (@tech_is_dead) reported

I will never not be angry about #nbn fibre to the node.

  • HydecomLorraine Lorraine Hyde (@HydecomLorraine) reported

@DaveMilbo The NBN is a joke! $70m in bonuses for execs!! My NBN service cut off when someone else requested a service at my address without my consent. No landline no internet since Feb 2nd. Hours with provider trying to be reconnected. Just a nightmare!

  • Hambledown_Road Dean Mayes (@Hambledown_Road) reported

@AlboMP A word of advice Anthony - the NBN is a third order issue at the moment. You should be going hard on the Higgins scandal. Attack, attack, attack. #auspol

  • marilyn_riedy Marilyn Riedy (@marilyn_riedy) reported

@AusIndiMedia Why does Murdoch have so much power? It is a big fail for our government to pander to him. Just remember why we have such dodgy NBN when we could have been world leaders! He has a paywall on his news so it seems he is already getting paid. FB empowers people to correct him.

  • JasonUmiker Jason Umiker (@JasonUmiker) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@dougrathbone The only reason NBN is expensive is the government is saying it needs to pay the money back they’ve invested in it and building the network (they didn’t list it was an expense on the federal budget but a loan). If they just wrote down their investment NBN could lower prices (1/2)

  • PervyPimp SusBoySlim (@PervyPimp) reported

@AlboMP I'm actually hanging out for the starlink network Elon Musk is working on, that way I won't have to deal with the NBN bull
