No no, JB. It’s super great. Except when I get home from work at 7pm. And when I wanna watch tele at 9pm. And when I get up at 5am. And the carrier and nbn didn’t **** us over with the instal at all. So. Great. 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕

@strollingrabbi I’d say so. On the other hand, he hasn’t fixed it, so happy to blame him too. I’m currently awaiting my NBN, dreading it. A friend has let me use his speedy network for now, but he knew what questions to ask when his was installed.

I’m so sick of our nbn being out. For the past 3 or 4 nights our hfc connection has died during the day, they try and fix it remotely. Eventually they send a tech out, they fix it around 11pm. The next day repeat. It’s our whole area too. Frustrating!

I’m about 1km south of an @Optus 5G service. I have no 3G/4G service I can rely on currently so have to use wifi calling. NBN or Optus router goes down weekly so I’m left on a desert island. iPhone 12 with 5G comes in November. Here’s hoping 5G will arrive by then #gamechanger

@ChrisLXXXVI I had to reset the nbn every day, sometimes more. Lightning nearby? Internet gone. Flip certain switches in the house? Internet gone. The problem? Original ph cables in my house, wired to every room. Antenna much? I fixed it by disconnecting the lot...

@mac_bridie Yeah, NBN is impossible. Last outage I had, I said, "I can see the problem from my front window. The wire coming up out of Telstra's waterlogged pit is flapping loose against the stobie pole." Still took a couple of days.

@JaneCaro Living between Australia and New Zealand,I get to contrast the rubbish that is NBN and a proper fibre to the premise broadband. NZ works perfectly and a min speed of 300mbps for $65/ month. In Aus I get 80mbps if lucky and all the same problems you are experiencing and I pay $95.

@DaveIrving99 Same - but have you ever tried calling Telstra or NBN? I've only had to resort to that twice thank God. Nowadays I'll just use my Personal Hotspot until the geniuses fix the problem!🤯
