My sister in law and hubby moved to a new housing estate at Port Mcquaire not long ago. In order to make a mobile phone call with their NBN they have to walk around the yard holding the phone high in the air trying to get a signal.

@NBN_Australia any updates on the HFC outage in Ryde NSW? It’s been two days now

And low and behold it's not even been 24 hours since being connected to the NBN and I already have an outage. What gives? @MyRepublicAU @NBN_Australia

@NBN_Australia Yes have spoken more than 5 times. Coming to the house they say it’s fine, but appears to be 1 of the 2 wifi signals the router provides only gives very low speeds. The other is fine, but small distance. I’ll look at a different provider than @foxtel. Appalling customer support.

I am no fan of the NBN but the further investment of $3.5 billion defies logic. 5G is coming with very quick download speeds and cable infrastructure. It’s pouring good money after bad. You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.

Yeah I give up - my neighbour had nbn as of 3 weeks ago and apparently I can't get it installed until April 2021 despite being in the same building as her? That's complete bullshit. Guess I have to stick with my wireless 4GX network until then...

@ChrisMac1270 @KerryBindon Guess who’s paying for the NBN fix?

@Telstra Unfortunately the messaging team have been part of the problem. I appreciate that times change, but I’ve switched NBN services due to the very poor follow up from the text team.

@NBN_Australia What about equipment provided by NBN? Never experienced these issues before your equipment was installed. What is the difference between your own-brand cable-adaptor and the Netgear Telstra Cable Adaptor CM450-1TLAUS? Can I put the old one back that used to work perfectly?

After moving to Aus, I was on an ADSL connection for 5 years and only had 1 outage during that time. I have been on NBN for less than a week and have already had two outages. This is getting silly now. @MyRepublicAU @NBN_Australia #nbnfail #nbn
