My sister in law and hubby moved to a new housing estate at Port Mcquaire not long ago. In order to make a mobile phone call with their NBN they have to walk around the yard holding the phone high in the air trying to get a signal.

@juchelesbian As a former NBN tech I know this struggle although we could run conduit so you’d be putting in saddles ever metre and a half which isn’t quite as bad as clips. People think under houses the claustrophobia is bad but no. It’s the severe pain from ****** contortions

@QuentinDempster @YaThinkN When you think about Centrelink debacle, NBN cockups, quarantine stuff ups, Census problems, the Porter issue and way it’s been dealt with, the response to the bushfires, etc…would you trust this mob to get it right? Feels like another election stunt. Has heightened tensions.

@Telstra It’s not up and running. It took around an hour with the online help chat via your app to be told it’s apparently the NBN and I now need to wait until Monday for a technician. No internet until then, if they can even fix it Monday.

@Filapek Still has the stigma of a govt service even 25 years or whatever it is later. Inefficient, ineffective, un-user friendly etc etc. Don't get me started on the obsolete NBN service rollout. Work for the dole rebranded...

@TPG_Telecom what's going on with your home NBN support? Your website says phone suppor is available 8am - midnight but it just directs you to the app. Response after submitting fault, 12 hours
