@ZachWeiner Part of the other side of the issue was that once the NBN came into your area, the original phone lines shut down, so you had to get an NBN plan. A lot of telcos shoved people onto a 12 Mbps plan, which was never designed for internet use, only as a phone line

@Telstra How is it that I can have four nbn outages in one day (and counting) and yet each time I troubleshoot the result is ‘no outage’? And still no one responding to my chat sessions. #epicfail #WFH

oh look a little rain and some lightning... time for the wonderful NBN provided by @telstra @NBN_Australia to lag out and have terrible response times probably for 3 or 4 days now. I love living in the 13th century.

All we ever hear is "NBN this, NBN that". Here I am with a shoddy ADSL service that gets 4down and .1up on its best day. What the bloody hell am I paying for?!

@BelongAU I placed an order for nbn broadband on the 9th of January 2021, router was delivered a day early and everything looked all set for activation on the 29th of January... Several emails later I still have no service or feedback.

The problem is that as a whole NBN (Northern-bred *****) I can’t really deal with the way they deal with snow in these other areas.

@NBN_Australia Yes we’ve checked, it says there have been no outages detected - yet we’ve been without a connection for almost 24 hours now. Our provider lodged an incident yesterday but given its an NBN issue they recommended we get in touch directly. Can you advise on how you can fix this?
