@ZachWeiner Part of the other side of the issue was that once the NBN came into your area, the original phone lines shut down, so you had to get an NBN plan. A lot of telcos shoved people onto a 12 Mbps plan, which was never designed for internet use, only as a phone line

@NBN_Australia Errr we were told back in 2013 that no one needed fast internet and that no one would use it for more than checking emails. Wonder if that is still the case. FTTN is a joke of a service.

@MeganTheOracle i guess starlink is going to be like Bibles in China now, the only way around government control is starlink, I worked on NBN infrastructure here and they didn't just build a fibre network, let's just say they can mirror any1s computer they want

@NBN_Australia The issue I'm facing is that I'm paying for a 50/20 service and I can only sync at 45/9. No point in trying to "help" as this is a flaw with FTTN.

@NBN_Australia absolutely pathetic. Workers been out installed pits and underground, yeah we have copper hung on poles. Ran fibre. But do we know what’s happen, NO, because @NBN_Australia fails to communicate. Service currently ****. @Telstra you’re next, mobile unusable.

Just a timely reminder that the @NBN_Australia has admitted that only 19% of its network can reach 100 mbps or higher.

@StewyMelbourne @abcnews Yeup. And this is BECAUSE Telstra has so much control over this sector. They stifle competition & regulation for their own benefit. Without Telstra, for instance, the NBN would've been far better but instead we're going to be paying them to use the copper network for decades.

@NBN_Australia just your usual 2- 5 drop outs per day every single day for months which is apparently still considered 'stable' by nbn and not enough to send a tech out. spare me the ' that's no good please contact your RSP for support' your network is a joke and the meme is very appropriate
