-
AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Launceston, TasmaniaFFS, how dishonest (or maybe stupid) can a candidate be. To claim on one hand Labor did nothing for Tas jobs 5 seconds after saying they wasted money on the #NBN. @kevinmorgantas
-
Shane Davidson (@Davo1003278286) reported from Launceston, TasmaniaFM we have to put up with a substandard NBN internet service now the governments going to ostracise Google to please their media giants. So we’ll have slow internet and a inferior search engine. Well done Moronson !
-
AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Launceston, Tasmania@deniseshrivell Tas got first NBN then Libs got in. They let Turnbull get away with lie and wreck it. They canned the digital hubs program, Medicare Locals, and dumped community providers of disability support services in favour of larger private operators cashing in.
-
Sir Render Monkey (@yinyangman69) reported from Launceston, TasmaniaThe LNP took Labor’s grand vision for the NDIS and made it Centrelink, just as they took the grand vision for the NBN and made it Fraudband. Bad internet sucks but what is being done to people with disabilities in the name of economic rationalism is criminal neglect. #auspol

AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Launceston, Tasmania@bigbadave @mavetju @BLShiv @NickRossTech Exactly, and the original NBN was going to solve their problems, be it on domestic level of service or business. I was paying $65 a month while neighbouring businesses were paying T $200 month. They could not use eftpos & phone at same time. I could do both + stream radio & TV
-
AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Launceston, Tasmania@andrew_blow @wendy_harmer @MikeCarlton01 @sarahgerathy Senate estimates covers a lot of the boring mundane stuff that affects everyone. The problem is that some hearings are timed to avoid much journalistic scrutiny (NBN used to be on late at night, routinely) or there is so much happening at same time that some issues get neglected.

AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Launceston, Tasmania@cookiemunsta @Kynes3 @MrMatlock12 @JoanBloggs @PostLamont @QandA @insightSBS It's because ADSL (old) and VDSL (nbn) are incompatible and they have to slow down both during the 18 month change over period to prevent them wiping out each other. This govt willfully took this action and killed fibre to the premises which is excellent and causes no such issue.

Ms Anne Thropé (@TinyButMighty17) reported@Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia Am I getting a discount on my monthly plan when your company(s) fail to provide the service I pay for ?
-
Terry Constanti (@tezlefty) reported@KKeneally University of Sydney physics dept approached govt (Abbott I think) with newer tech optic fibre that was easier to install, lighter etc and could carry new Stanford U-developed optical data compression = 100 times NbN data speed. They never got a hearing.
-
Peter Klages (@PeterKlages) reported@NBN_Australia I might add, I NEVER get 25mbps download. The best I do is about 20 on a good day. I will need faster, stronger and better satellite delivery soon. I am discussing with Telstra putting an aerial up and going with 4G. And abandoning NBN.
-
Prot3si (@PROTttHREE) reported@Optus had slow nbn speed for about a week ~45mbps download and ONLY ~0.5mbps UPLOAD you can play anything online ping is past 300. cant upload work and today tried to upload a 1.5mb file and it failed. cant voice call on discord i dont even want to try video calling. please fix,
-
Peter Klages (@PeterKlages) reported@NBN_Australia NOTE: @NBN_Australia is very good on the PR prompts up front, but when you try to deal with them in facts they very quickly withdraw and ignore you. The NBN satellite service is inadequate. I’m 165km from Melb CBD yet I get the same internet as someone in Central Australia.
-
ᗰIᑕᕼᗩEᒪ (@micwoodward) reported@NBN_Australia Can you confirm the service class? (Happy if via DM)
-
Michael Pearson (@michaelpearson2) reported@realhuntermmm @NBN_Australia Strange that fttp is not working that's the decent 1 out of them all
-
Josephine Cashman (@Josieamycashman) reportedBolt was right @MrKRudd the NBN was a bad idea, it cost us dearly. We should have waited a little longer for commercial enterprise to develop faster internet, & they've coincidentally achieved this, & I feel with an investigation we'd see the conflicts of interest which caused it
-
Alex McDonnel (@AlexDGlengarry) reported@SusanDeeW @MarieColemanAO I'm missing Nicole from NBN warning my service is being cut off. She rang every day for months.
