@ZachWeiner Part of the other side of the issue was that once the NBN came into your area, the original phone lines shut down, so you had to get an NBN plan. A lot of telcos shoved people onto a 12 Mbps plan, which was never designed for internet use, only as a phone line

@Southozbadboy @ozyrobbie19 @SpaceX This hardware is for sites that have no phone/internet line. The cost for their plan is cheap compared to NBN trenching a rural road to so.eones house. If you have network cabling... youre asking for something not built for you

@Optus there has been a nbn unplanned outage in Ashfield 2131 since Friday morning. 56 hours so far. I have had 3 convos on the app. All you can say is “sorry”. Still not fixed. How am I expected to work tomorrow, as I work from home? Are you going to pay me the lost wages?

@lazycyberdude Aussie bb said some **** like my net is still connecting to adsl2+ and NBN at the same time??? Idk losing my mind

@1_LessThanYou @SpaceX Nope, had one small outage when it was absolutely pouring. Never any issue with normal to heavy rain or storms etc. Neighbors fixed wireless NBN drops out in a slight wind or any rain.

@NBN_Australia no nbn in Ashfield, Sydney for over 72 hours! I expected the “unplanned outage” to have been resolved by Morning morning. If you could look into this issue ASAP, that would be appreciated.

@BethTurnbu8778 @NBN_Australia Yep. Looks like we’ve finally gotten an update. Let’s hope this issue can be resolved by COB today very latest

@SpaceX Make it $99 per month and 100k people will sign up tomorrow. So much better than the **** NBN. Also a giant FU to Telstra, who are easily the worst run business in the country.

The Snark (@The8thFit) reported
@NBN_Australia Yep. That's 46+ hours with no cabled internet access. The whole building is impacted and goodness knows how many other homes in the area. Your web site just says "an unplanned outage is affecting the network". This lack of information is pretty poor.

@phantom1969 @SpaceX I'm not standing in the middle of the outback so yes, Its fine. I dont use NBN. I use mobile. The only time it goes glitchy is when Airforce One flies into Darwin. The damn thing leaks a fuckton of unburned Avgas.

@wrhollingsworth Hey William, not good to hear you are having trouble with your NBN service, this is not what we want for our customers. If you would like us to run some tests and get an NBN tech sent out if required, please send us a DM. Thanks - Mary
