    @ZachWeiner Part of the other side of the issue was that once the NBN came into your area, the original phone lines shut down, so you had to get an NBN plan. A lot of telcos shoved people onto a 12 Mbps plan, which was never designed for internet use, only as a phone line

    @yisraeldreams NBN sucks, I decided to just totally bypass them. It's better to work with the Jewish Agency directly, especially if you are already in Israel.

    @Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia Thanks Tara, appreciate the reply. Unfortunately the NBN techs installing the FTTP upgrade have broken something in the pit. As such, myself and other FTTC customers on my street will remain impacted a few more days until they fix it.

    My friend told me NBN told them they specifically try to keep out Olim that are poor or disabled so that pretty much confirms the vibes I get from them

    @MattMcKee2533 @tomcollins76 @joshgnosis Nbn on the other hand, who I also worked for, do the right thing and purge most if not all the personal data they receive from you as part of the install process. Because they don't it need it once you are handed over to and Service provider.

    @AshleyLeahy It's why I'm closed mouth on this. Yeah it sucks, but if you didn't see this coming, then you weren't looking in the right place. There are other things I'm worried about. Food. Electricity and gas (up again January). NBN (up $10 a mth).

    6 hours+ dealing with @Telstra and an NBN issue and they want me, the customer, to carry out more troubleshooting for them.

    @L_DeWeaver Hi Lynne, no I am at the other end of the Clarence valley, Jackadgery. The Mann River is flowing pretty high as well. NBN are supposed to be looking into the problem. My daughter is on the same satellite with another provider & has no problem.
