Good service from Telstra. Lightning strike fried our NBN box on Saturday afternoon, called Telstra who booked a technician to replace it this morning. He’s just been, all sorted.

@markhumphries TBH, although I think they delivered a terrible service for the install. at my house, I was happy to only pay $300 for the « actual » connection of my house. (work on the street, weatherproof boxes on the house, etc.). The overall process must have cost NBN more than $300.

Morning @2GB, you’ve got app issues again. It keeps cutting out and and one stage we heard Ben ask the Astro guy the same question four times. Now nothing. Our download is 108Mbs and upload 32Mbs, ping 13Ms. Our NBN’s working fine.

@TPG_Telecom NBN customer and quality of connection and number of dropouts has grown exponentially the past two weeks. Time without connection is now exceeding time connected.

@HamSales I'd have to read it again But when we did the inspection they said it should be nbn friendly, which the property technically is but it turns out whoever did the first nbn installation did a terrible job so it needs to be totally redone

@elockwood_ The first one, I asked her to confirm which internet service provider we used “um, Optus?” “No, we don’t use Optus.” “But you do have NBN?” “Yes but with a different provider. If there are issues with the connection, you should be able to tell me who provides the connection”.

@Nekochan_______ @NBN_Australia To be fair, when NBN works, it's fantastic for me. But, the outages have occurred far more frequently than when I had cable internet. Only significant issue with cable internet over 15 yrs was when a deep sea cable was severed off the coast of Hong Kong!
