@treeman85 Shiny new PC parts just put together last week in preparation too! Should be no issues with tech this year at my end, as long as NBN is reliable.

And further update, Telstra they thought it wasn't their cable after all and told me to ring the NBN instead. I did, they came out within 30 mins and fixed it as it was an emergency. Could've told me that 18 hrs earlier when I first reported it to Telstra.

@AnnastaciaMP Shows how little you know. Under ASDL I got 6-7 mb/s and that was more than enough to stream multiple shows Now after government spent billions and I got FTTP NBN I get 11 mb/s and still more than enough but still get service drop outs.

I just had #poweroutage at 20:47 for 30 seconds in Hayes St #Caboolture. Computer, lighting, appliances and @NBN_Australia shut down abruptly. Phone had battery power so I felt for it in dark.

@Noisynanawarat1 Everything about telstra is crap.Last year I got a notification that they were going to slow my NBN down if I didn't pay another $30 a month. I didn't and they did. I changed over to Aussie broadband and went in to finalise the thing.Still getting bills.

"I'm using a VPN so police can't catch me." Umm, your device - if a PC/tablet still has a unique ID and said device still has to access a network, whether NBN, a mobile tower and this is easily traced ... if's it's a mobile app it still has to access towers (easily triangulated)
