    To my Aussie friends: Wasn't the idea behind the NBN (National Broadband Network) to ensure that everyone had inexpensive access to the internet? What happened? How much are you paying for internet access?

    @aussi3dutchman @robb_j_m I did. It was in my pocket all along. For an extra $100 per year. I can have 120mb/s anywhere I go. Cancel your NbN. It’s a scam. 👍

    @JayJay1094727 @eevblog It's the other way around really, they would love to provide a service over their own infrastructure at higher margins than wholesaling nbn

    @DaveMcG67 @Ausbobsmit @lauren_vasiliou Like Snowy 2 you mean started by LNP at a cost of $2B now estimated at $42B an LNP project or the NBN which cost us $110B more under Abbott& Turnbull for a far inferior service.Neither the right or left r great project managers.

    @whereisaaron @robb_j_m @NBN_Australia That doesn't work with infrastructure. This only works in a production line environment where the fixed costs are spread over a higher volume produced. Infrastructure increase as the demand goes up. More people more lines, more nodes more exchanges, more costs. Its not fixed.

    The Labor Budget 🙄 So far all I see is nothing to help or support now, $250 in 2028. Ffs everyone has been left behind. We're spending more than that additionaly on groceries, fuel , insurances, nbn, etc etc. Where's the relief.

    @ShackelWill @JoSmith05406728 It’s Labor’s miserable ghost Turnbull who was in charge, same blowout happened with his other failure the NBN. If K Packer hadn’t provided his financial support which later he regretted Turnbull would be just another punter. Kerry had nothing good to say about him.

    @eevblog @Hobbie4C Perhaps there's been a huge surge in demand for bandwidth from those cellsites since the NBN outage? Everyone has the same idea as you and bandwidth is finite. The more concurrent users, the lower the throughput.
