Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Lachlan and nearby locations:
  • parisba Dr Paris Buttfield-Addison 🖋📚 #HeadFirstSwift 🖖 (@parisba) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@shanselman This is trivial in Australia, as our NBN (“national broadband network”) hardware has 4x ports for that specific purpose. No idea for the USA though... 🙃

  • suzanne_cass 💧Suzanne Cass ☘️☘️🇮🇪 (@suzanne_cass) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NickRossTech @NBN_Australia My FTTN is crap. My ADSL was faster.

  • maxitaxi3333 Queen MaxiTaxi #FreeAssange (@maxitaxi3333) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Exactly, exactly, exactly! If the Labor NBN had gone through, it would be finished by now, NBN FTTP would be there without copper wire problems and, I cannot go on about how bad this decision was. And the cost of FTTP would have been equal to this mess. @TurnbullMalcolm

  • leah_galvin Leah Galvin 🍎🍒🥑🥦🥕🌽🌰🍓🧀 (@leah_galvin) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

Wow an NBN outage down till Sunday 6th October!!! It's school holidays and teenagers are struggling. Oh books and outside look good @Telstra

  • LilMrPotatoHead Littlemrpotatohead (@LilMrPotatoHead) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@OptusSport We'd love to enjoy @OptusSport however our @Optus nbn is down for 24-48 hours 👍

  • feelingswell Robert Gavin (@feelingswell) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia @Farmgate138 I like that “experiencing some issues” have had NBN for some years now. We quickly found the baseline service was crap and upgraded to the next level - which is great when it works, but reading the fine print, NBN only warrant it will work for 2mins annually

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@Optus @NBN_Australia Currently on hold to Optus & online chat. We’ve been told the relocation request we put in doesn’t exist, even though it is in multiple chat threads with Optus who said they’d arrange this. They recognised that our service was previously working, just not with the speed boost WTF

  • ollie_bo Ollie Roberts (@ollie_bo) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@NBN_Australia An update: called @Optus who transferred us to @NBN_Australia who then told us that there is an outage in the Sandy Bay (Tasmania) area and that the internet would be on in 4 hours (9pm last night). 9pm has been and gone. Standard troubleshooting, eg reboot hardware, etc & nada!

  • TasGreg Greg C (@TasGreg) reported from Hobart, State of Tasmania

@BevanShields @AntonEnus "But has no modelling to support the claim" Just like Direct Action emission reduction or the cost of ALP NBN or the $660billion ALP debt blowout etc etc #FreePassToBS

  • FmkMister MisterM (@FmkMister) reported

@JulianBurnside Considering it is now being run by one of his x-stooges my guess = all of it, same as their attack on internet freedoms the biggest benefiter...Murdoch, oh and lets not forget the NBN that he tanked because his shitty Fox network couldn't handle the competition. Murdock Killed OZ

  • amak3102 amak (@amak3102) reported

@Telstra internet via cable. Seems Telstra have cut off my cable service in preparation to going to NBN. Sadly NBN wont be ready till 1/10 Can you help please. Ref: INC11229249. Went out and purchased a smartmodem which cost $209 whilst waiting for my NBN one to arrive

  • B00MPUMA BoomP (@B00MPUMA) reported

@slate_akita If this is on Australia's NBN it probably won't go faster, it'll continue at it's tedious slow pace, or worse still, time out. Restart 2020 all over again.

  • MatHenderson5 Mat Henderson (@MatHenderson5) reported

@MyRepublicAU I don't think you are really committed to communication. This page is hardly ever updated. Everytime there has been an outage in my area this page shows 'no known issues.' I have to check the NBN status page to find out there is 'planned maintenance'.

  • the_jongleur Michael Mulhern (@the_jongleur) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Hey @NBN_Australia just hung up on another scam caller saying they’re (you/NBN) are going to cut off our phone/Internet service. What are you doing about these scamsters?

  • bneandy Andy (@bneandy) reported

@Aussie_BB hola amigos, signed up for 1000 down on Friday. I know it's only Monday, but I am expecting an NBN tech at some point I am pretty sure. Any idea on a time frame? Not in a rush, just wondering. In Brisbane if that helps.

  • sta_fortis Shahnawaaz Khan (@sta_fortis) reported

@NBN_Australia How can I talk to someone from my nbn? My co-existence period ended but my max speed is only 65mbs. I live 750 metres from the box. Your customer service line keeps telling me to go online.

  • RBJRON 💧Ron Jones❄ (@RBJRON) reported

@PeterPyke I've inquired about NBN WiFi and they are coming out in a months time to check whether I can get a signal

  • Meggone2 AdiosBogart (@Meggone2) reported

@Gotpeg @dissin @riseupmelbourne NBN is safe because it is cabled. Anything wireless like cell towers are not. Your Wifi router is very bad can put a flymesh cage around it to reduce radiation by 90% and not affect signal. Check out EMF Protector sites will explain more.

  • Centrelink Centrelink (@Centrelink) reported

@dhh901 The number provided is the right one for questions about your DSP claim. Phone service providers charge a fixed rate for calls from your home phone to 13 numbers from anywhere in Australia, so you may need to follow up with your NBN provider. 1/2
