@bigbadave @mavetju @BLShiv @NickRossTech Exactly, and the original NBN was going to solve their problems, be it on domestic level of service or business. I was paying $65 a month while neighbouring businesses were paying T $200 month. They could not use eftpos & phone at same time. I could do both + stream radio & TV

@andrew_blow @wendy_harmer @MikeCarlton01 @sarahgerathy Senate estimates covers a lot of the boring mundane stuff that affects everyone. The problem is that some hearings are timed to avoid much journalistic scrutiny (NBN used to be on late at night, routinely) or there is so much happening at same time that some issues get neglected.

The LNP version of the NBN is the worst. It is the slowest most hopeless internet service they possibly could have delivered. We had better speed and coverage with ADSL.

@NBN_Australia NBN outage at my house in Beresfield, but at neither of my neighbours. The site says unscheduled outage, but has no ETA. Will there be one, or will it just be when it happens?

@histofarch @QRedLetterData It’s not about trust. It’s about getting a service I want. The Australian governments NBN just doesn’t provide me with a decent service in a rural location. If he can provide it great for me and the rest of the world. if he can’t well I’m no worse off am I.

@NBN_Australia Outage in the Hunter Valley (Nulkaba) what’s going on?!! You’ve scheduled a bloody 8 hour outage on Tuesday, so you’ve got to be *************** if you plan on having any outages prior.

@rodhiggins1973 @AustralianLabor @NBN_Australia So what's with all the LNP copper **** then? Good luck with 5G, paying double the price per GB for lower speed and peak time congestion, a problem that fibre does not have! They use satellites for rural area because they can't afford good fibre.

So we haven't had NBN service for over a week now & according to Telstra it is because of the floods in QLD/NSW. Does this sound right given we are in TAS??
