  • anniepinkstorm AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Launceston, State of Tasmania

@andrew_blow @wendy_harmer @MikeCarlton01 @sarahgerathy Senate estimates covers a lot of the boring mundane stuff that affects everyone. The problem is that some hearings are timed to avoid much journalistic scrutiny (NBN used to be on late at night, routinely) or there is so much happening at same time that some issues get neglected.

  • anniepinkstorm AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Launceston, State of Tasmania

@bigbadave @mavetju @BLShiv @NickRossTech Exactly, and the original NBN was going to solve their problems, be it on domestic level of service or business. I was paying $65 a month while neighbouring businesses were paying T $200 month. They could not use eftpos & phone at same time. I could do both + stream radio & TV

@HansenHanno @ArtistAffame infrastructure. In fact I’m an hr from Melb (not exactly the wild outback by any stretch of imagination) and the infrastructure is sone of the worst in the world. Using NBN at the local library which I have had to do because it co Stanton breaks is as slow as a dead dog in a

@VodafoneAU your 5G service has been dropping in and out continuously for over 24 hours. You gave me the hard sell to switch from NBN and it’s honestly AWFUL. It may be the thing that makes me leave VF after 20 years!

  • snapey2009 Matthew (@snapey2009) reported

@Pentanet_ISP Spewing I missed this didn't see it on google until today I have followed for future updates. I'm at the back of Clarkson still waiting to jump on the nexus network hopefully it's here soon my NBN speed are terrible sickoff high ping.

  • jathansadowski Jathan Sadowski (@jathansadowski) reported

@richardson_m_a Damn those speeds on NBN! In my old place I would average 30 down on the mid-tier plan (NBN50). Same plan at the new place but my speed doubled because of connection type. The unevenness and low floor is ridiculous.

  • alexmakin Alex Makin (@alexmakin) reported

@chapmanwp11 @Telstra I'm bit sure how the commercial arrangements between carriers work, but if it's like the nbn and you purchase capacity, it's almost like they have not bought enough to accommodate customer demand. Is imagine India, like New York, is a major customer destination.

  • glassdarkly6 glassdarkly (@glassdarkly6) reported

@joshgnosis @MrPercival01 Abbott visited Murdoch in New York. Traded Labor's 92% FTTP NBN Plan for 21% FTTP Plan for hardcore Newscorp support for LNP in Sep 2013. NBN became NBN in name only. Abbott ordered Turnbull to work with Switkowski to commit an act of treason on essential infrastructure. #auspol

My dad's opinion on @HonTonyAbbott and @TurnbullMalcolm's involvement in the NBN: "The ***** should both hang their heads in shame." Can't say I disagree.

  • boobookittifukk Booboo Kittiefukk (@boobookittifukk) reported

@gl0withj0y @patriottakes Hahahahahahahaha very, very, very true. ******* LNP and their penny pinching bullshit NBN plan. We're stuck with this ****.

  • rlanglands1 Rod Langlands (@rlanglands1) reported

1/ @Telstra I have been going around and around in circles trying to get help on an nbn issue that is of Telstra's making. There is no help available or contactable. The system is designed to send you insane. I have had to use them for my uncle in a nursing home.

  • arn3b Arne Hansen (@arn3b) reported

@vanOnselenP Clawback provisions on JobKeeper. That led to in excess of $20bn in grift. NBN: cost blow-outs and we get a bad network. That was also opposed by the ALP, although I know not technically on the books, but let's be real.
