Yay, NBN issues. Two neighbours (with different RSPs) also having issues. Nearly 3 hours after the outage started, @NBN_Australia still don't know about it (or haven't acknowledged it in their outages listing)

@abc730 @geoff__thompson The premise of this article is flawed. Netflix was already in popular use in Australia when the Coalition made the decision to cripple the NBN and everyone was saying at the time that streaming TV would become the dominant platform. ABC's own iView service was launched in 2008.

@NBN_Australia Thank you for your comment, This was our first action, although the feedback that was received gave no indication of when the service would return. (We were disconnected for a total of 32 hours) our service returned at 3 pm this afternoon.

@PhidMcAwesome Nice! My instalment is like the NBN... painfully slow

@NBN_Australia I’ve been working with my service provider Rosemary. The last answer is NBN won’t investigate as less than 6 outages a day is acceptable apparently, which is a complete joke. Instead of the patronising customer service weasel words, some action would be better.

@albericie Not just the speeds that’s the issue. Running on 50 yo copper. Whoever thought that was a good idea? Been trying to get NBN to replace my lead in for 3 months. Dodging all responsibility. Thanks #LNP
