Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Loamside and nearby locations:

  • Timothyjgraham Tim Graham (@Timothyjgraham) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Telstra have throttled our backup 4G internet, which we have been using while we wait 4 months to get NBN installed... We can barely use the internet - can’t even FaceTime with loved ones 😞. Fortunately I have an open complaint with the ombudsman. Disgraceful. Cc @ACCAN_AU

  • badgergloveppt Jon Cartwright (@badgergloveppt) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia After years of delays my street was scheduled for March. I've never had Foxtel so mine got moved out to May, and then tonight whilst contractors are doing nightwork it moves out another year. I'm looking for an actual answer please.

  • JoshforQLD Joshua Allan - Australian Community Advocate (@JoshforQLD) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

I am one of 940 volunteers out of more than 25 million Australians who have a white box monitoring my nbn connection speeds 24/7 I have FTTN despite the fact there is a NBN cable running on my street 3-5 metres away from my curb Speeds are too slow #auspol #nbnfail @acccgovau

  • BOXEMUP Roxann Coffey (@BOXEMUP) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@NBN_Australia Oh I have been and the dates keeps changing. Its funny how they have NBN around 100m down the road from me yet we are still waiting. #nbnfail

  • smadge1 Stephen Reeves 🔫 (@smadge1) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@JamesPinnell I never plugged mine in, it only ever had telemarketers, and now I’m on NBN, I’d need to buy a compatible handset, just to get called by telemarketers.

  • RobbieShenton Robbie Shenton (@RobbieShenton) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Stressed out today. Going onto the dreaded NBN HFC. Heard nothing but bad things about the Arcadyan Modem from Telstra. Especially how its causing all sorts of issues with Xbox.

  • LesStonehouse Politic@l Spinner. (@LesStonehouse) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

You lost your job security..You lost your penalty rates. paying more for health..more for energy bills no pay rises ..Awful NBN..but you're not voting labor because they would like to encourage you to buy #ElectricVehicles in 2030 . Folks are dumb where I come from 😳 #auspol

  • BOXEMUP Roxann Coffey (@BOXEMUP) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@bongrrjr @NBN_Australia Frustrating is only half of it. From what I hear from locals in our area who already have it. They are not to happy either. With the amount of problems they have with the net. We might be better off without it.

  • beclynchqld Rebecca Lynch (@beclynchqld) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

.@JakeSchoermer lists key issues as climate change, transparency, NBN. Highlights zipline as a big @QldGreens @mcberkman win. No mention of housing affordability policy - although I'm going to guess most of the Ryan candidates' forum audience owns homes. #auspol

  • Mcali4 liz franklin (@Mcali4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@alexbhturnbull The NBN is sad rubbish unless you got it as FTTP but the fast rail is a great idea and I'd love to see it go ahead. Rail travel fast or slow is my first choice. The Southern Aurora was the way I always travelled from Syd/Mel/Syd .Should never have stopped it.

  • Mcali4 liz franklin (@Mcali4) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@YaThinkN @ScrawnyRooster Probably the crap nbn service. Why else would you buy an actual paper.

  • badgergloveppt Jon Cartwright (@badgergloveppt) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@abc730 @geoff__thompson 10 years into the NBN's life and right now the reason I can't get it is because unlike my neighbours I never gave Murdoch any money by subscribing to Foxtel. It's ludicrous.

  • OzSheela Sheela (@OzSheela) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@GoldCoastNurse @QLDLabor @AnnastaciaMP @jackietrad @WgarNews @Biggy1883 @virgotweet @OneLoneVoice4 Even though I am not an LNP voter, when Turnbull was elected I really thought, hoped we would embrace new technologies, grasp the opportunities with renewables, and fix the NBN. Sadly that didn't happen. #auspol

  • RobbieShenton Robbie Shenton (@RobbieShenton) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@xaaronh Just want some government to fix the NBN.

  • willislim Willis (@willislim) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

NBN have confirmed an appointment for Monday afternoon to fix my nbn activation issue. I guess we should go out this weekend...

  • KrankyKerry Kranky Kerry (@KrankyKerry) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@MikeCarlton01 @smh Yes he did , what a disaster the last 5 / 6 yrs have been for Australia the NBN #NZ 20 time s faster , Energy , Mad right destroyed it , bjut poor Malcolm continued to suck up to these destroyers , he was the only thing left , so they put him out of his misery

  • bennarama Benedict Coyne for Dickson (@bennarama) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Thx .@TPCandidate Over past 11 months all those issues have come up + long term investment in infrastructure (fix roads & #nbn), #FederalICAC now #ClimateActionNow #StopAdani That’s why we’re urging voters to send Major Parties a Major MSG & #VoteGreensFirst✅🗳 #DicksonVotes

  • francisd62 F Oblomov Chalmers (@francisd62) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Internode Wireless signal strong. No internet. Reboot no good. NBN to node not premises. Same as last time. NBN fail. Spare me. Trying to work!!

  • mycrouch Jason Crouch (@mycrouch) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@Optus No it’s not. I’m demonstrating the difference between your previous cable service and nbn FttN

  • badgergloveppt Jon Cartwright (@badgergloveppt) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

@abc730 @geoff__thompson The LNP have butchered the NBN and they continue to avoid recognising or supporting the videogame industry as part of the country's vibrant screen industry mix. If only we used coal I'm sure we'd have their unwavering support and tax breaks aplenty.

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Adamjeffrey7D There's a Thought (@Adamjeffrey7D) reported

@NBN_Australia Ok cool - so you deliver a substandard and clearly broken service and the way to fix it is for me to spend tens of thousands of dollars to install something that comes standard for most people. I live in a bustling regional town on the national highway, not some remote farm.

  • BrimStingy Maintain Dignity (@BrimStingy) reported

    @theage NBN.. No Broadband Network

  • andrew_chang andrew_chang (@andrew_chang) reported

@Optus is there a service outage in the Sans Souci area (2219). My phone and NBN service constantly drops out and no one at Optus Technical Support seem to be taking any calls or messages.

  • djcre MCF Cresswell (@djcre) reported

@SBSNews Isolated not only by oceans & terrible NBN now, what’s next?

  • neil_daws Neil Daws (@neil_daws) reported

@BrowntownBrew @theheraldsun Fibre does not bend like copper, otherwise the driveways wouldnt have to be dug up. Materials have become a whole lot better since the first concept NBN. Fibre is rolled out in all the new suburbs. Its just the old suburbs that are an issue.

  • Priva2804 Christian (@Priva2804) reported

**** @ScottMorrisonMP and anyone else that had anything to do with this. Thanks for ruining our internet. First by making it so slow you can’t load anything with the NBN, then just censoring it altogether.

  • AshleighPatel Ashleigh Renee Evans (@AshleighPatel) reported

@NBN_Australia Infinite disaster loop NBN and @BelongAU #belongnbn. Pay for service from Belong but Belong have stopped calling back. Apparently our issue is resolved yet I can't stream or do anything with every game or stream dc. Unlimited internet package worthless.

  • IxatDnats Evangelical Atheist (@IxatDnats) reported

@kimbakit @BelindaJones68 For WHAT? Our crap NBN????

  • croydon_of Suburban Stocks (@croydon_of) reported

@NBN_Australia Still no internet. 24 hrs later... The provider say NBN fault. I've lost thousands yesterday but nobody cares. just appalled at rhe service.

  • Valakay Dr Val Kay (@Valakay) reported

@MrDTJames @Telstra Maybe always was. Btw I went to the telecommunications ombudsman last year, after about 6 months of trying to get them to connect me to NBN (the problem was with Telstra not NBN). It really works
