  @EnergyWrapAU As much as I dislike Turdbull, you'd have to give him small credit for curtailing the NBN blowout that would have been. ALL 3 of these had the exact same problem. Contractors, with little Govt oversight, rorting the system for their own gain. Public servants writing 💩 contracts

  What happened was what always happens when it's a project run by the government. It failed miserably, and went way over budget. The NBN was so bad I begged my provider to give me back my previous internet connection. But they couldn't because they forced them to shut it down.

  @robb_j_m I was that happy with the FTTN NBN I had I went with Starlink when it was available in my area in November 2021. I know I can now get FTTP , but I put up with an ordinary service for for a long time and can’t be bothered changing.

  @EnergyWrapAU NBN generates revenue and pays down its costs over time. How can you compare that to NDIS which is a huge ongoing cesspool of fraud and waste.

  @diss_presso @robb_j_m The nbn was only announced in 2011/12. So if it went to crap in 2000, that's the market that let it go to crap.

  @robb_j_m Starlink. A satellite connection through the NBN in our rural area was a bit of a nightmare. Starlink is reliable, no limits on usage, and we never get throttled. I'll never go back.

  @SandyXiaotong Don't ever forget the NBN.....this fool decided that fibre to the house was stupid and uses old phone lines.....some people experienced dial up speeds! It's still be worked and now over $50 billion!

  @whereisaaron @robb_j_m @NBN_Australia That doesn't work with infrastructure. This only works in a production line environment where the fixed costs are spread over a higher volume produced. Infrastructure increase as the demand goes up. More people more lines, more nodes more exchanges, more costs. Its not fixed.
