In todays scam call fun, the guy got upset when I told him my internet was not actually slow, it was still pulling 250mbps download speeds today. He swore at me because of it. I guess he wasn't from the NBN after all.

@iiNet This post was much more about accountability, NBN and iiNet both have a history with clearly ignoring issues and refusing to provide clear communication. I wanted to highlight that systems used by both @NBN_Australia and @iiNet seem fundamentally broken.

@AlanBixter Hi Alan. Big fan … Please tell more about your internet connection issue. Was it a Telstra forcing-you-to-the-nbn snafu or a possible attack on your publicly visible work holding agencies accountable?

  • ashkbne Ash ☁️ (@ashkbne) reported

@Aussie_BB @NBN_Australia understandable, but I would have expected @NBN_Australia might do some scheduled maintenance to fix the underlying issue once and for all, just maybe...

  • MikeRodgerson Mike (@MikeRodgerson) reported

@LTziolis I don't mind MT however he left us with the biggest POC that has put Australia well behind the rest of the world in technology advancement, aka the NBN. Unforgivable that Australian's were forced down this **** hole of a technology road map that is worse than what we had before

  • MarkDCali Mark D (@MarkDCali) reported

@NickRossTech That's not a valid comparison as #NBN fees only cover content distribution, not content costs. But utility bills *do* cover content costs. NBN should compare itself to the distribution network fees of other utilities which average about $30/month.
