Not only lost nearly all signal,now missing work jobs,,,,because calls and emails not coming through( get allocations on daily basis). In the same period,increased my contract. Also convinced my elderly neighbour same bullshit and deal with NBN.BLOODY SCAM

anthony, underclass prole cat, edwards (@anthony45052793) reported@LooksDodgy @robb_j_m was on nbn fixed wireless, got tired of the outages and billing issues with my ISP, shifted to starlink. faster, far less outages and almost identical price. as a bonus starlink bills once per month, former isp billed every 28 days. that's nearly $100 a year less.

Today I got a text from Optus saying that they're trying, apparently so far unsuccessfully, to fix what they helpfully called fault 754885. Anyone know what on earth this?

Perhaps if the government invested in standing up a government owned charger network that had a sound business case and sold it later, that might be ok. However, that was what NBN was supposed to do with internet...

Throwing money at rail now is like throwing money at nbn for remote Australians 10 years ago. Waste of money when starlink fixed the problem.

NBN has *way* more customers to spread the infra costs over. If anything, fibre should be cheaper in Australia than NZ, surely?
