@NBN_Australia you wouldn't need a netflix tax if you built a fkn proper network.

I'm seriously considering jumping ship to a mobile service because my 4G service is often quite a bit faster than my NBN and it won't cost any extra and might even be cheaper. #qanda

@Picketer I went back to Telstra 10 yrs ago to get cable broadband. Along came the NBN and I had gifs buffer. Telstra said 'Nothing wrong our end' for 8 months. Finally got the NBN out to fix it. Telstra repaid 8 months of fees and I'm now with iiNet.

@NBN_Australia @aussiewongm Reckon it might be on Killeen St Sunshine West. Clearly by looking at the photos its accidental damage, lucky some passerby decided to scale the pole and fix it with some rope they just happened to have handy. Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need right now 🙄

@EternalYawn I see. There are instances that the NBN Co is able to resolve the issue before the given date. However, depending on the complexity and availability of the needed equipment, it may be extended. The payment for the service has been set to 'by permission' as requested. -Basil

@Telstra please can you sort out your disgraceful service, my home internet has been down for 2 weeks after you disconnected my NBN for no reason. After several calls and complaints still no action! AWFUL COMPANY!!

@peterwells @Forthleft3 Could be. Trouble is thst in rural NSW you can wait for hours (seemingly) for the NBN. Coffee's cold by then. Anyone else got connectivity issues?

@the_tezt @NBN_Australia Turns out the entire pole was demolished by a stay motorists, taking out power in the area for a few weeks. The power company installed a new pole to restore power, but the comms cable fix seems to have just been cobbled together.

Having problems with the relocation of my NBN with @TPG_Telecom - when I try and ask questions about the NBN installation or my service, the call centre staff become quite rude. It’s like they are reluctant to answer my questions. Would be nice to speak to someone who can help.

@Broadband_ @raywilton4 They went along with a lot of Abbott / Credlin crap. NBN anyone?

I might just be able to survive on mobile data until I get a router and NBN connected. Turns out my 'network connection changed' and speed issues were probably related to a mongo docker container using IPv6 that kept restarting on my laptop 🤦
