And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

  • cjnetlink Cory (@cjnetlink) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

  • tonywalker1 Antony (Tony) Walker (@tonywalker1) reported from Fenwick, State of Victoria

Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

  • cory_actually CORY (@cory_actually) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Vintuitive Must just be that the NBN is shit 😉🤣

  • KathyReid Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

@NBN_Australia Please make sure the fibre isn’t just All Bran. Lord knows the current lot is all **** !

  • ken1007tpgcoma1 ken1007@tpg.com.au (@ken1007tpgcoma1) reported

@TonyHWindsor We will get NBN up and running just in time to made obsolete by Tesla satellite network. Who said living in the past was absurdly expensive?.

  • LaurenThemself Lauren (@LaurenThemself) reported

'...All of Telstra’s nbn plans come with a phone service. Can I cancel the included home phone service? No – our Home Broadband Plans on the nbn network come with an included phone service. You can’t cancel the phone service without cancelling the whole plan or bundle...

  • jaklacroix ((Herschel🌹)) (@jaklacroix) reported

@NBN_Australia It's not very helpful, I'm afraid. Our house was hit by lightning several weeks ago. It fried our NBN connection. A technician was able to come out & link up a temporary line but needed a crew & dry weather to fix it properly. Want to know when this will happen.

  • europatzu sam (@europatzu) reported

and the funny part about the one for this election is its bringing 120k~ satellite covered premises onto fixed wireless. great. you moved them from one **** technology onto the 2nd shittiest technology in the *********** that is MTM NBN

  • lyndons Lyndon Sharp (@lyndons) reported

We just installed a Starlink antenna and router pack as a backup: NBN is unreliable and went out up here for a week during the recent bad weather. Starlink is super easy to install, and equally as fast as NBN.

  • DirtyDomino_ 𝕯𝖎𝖗𝖙𝖞 𝕯𝖔𝖒𝖎𝖓𝖔 (@DirtyDomino_) reported

I love how clueless @optus is... They dont even know their own equipment they supply. AX5400 Dual Band WiFi 6 xDSL Modem Router that they gave me isn't a modem and doesn't work with FTTB and @NBN_Australia supports these guys, like seriously.

  • barbpar Barbara Cassidy (@barbpar) reported

@BreakfastNews @PaulFletcherMP Wentworth Point in the lNP held Reid electorate is still waiting to get access to reliable telecommunications. This Minister dismissed it as not his problem when I raised it. Middle of Sydney, 14000+ residents and no towers. NBN limited to some streets only. Our $ are not enough.

  • meowbrodieCRPS brodie (@meowbrodieCRPS) reported

@Anthony_WA1 They butchered the NBN. We have just been put onto the NBN it's freaking terrible!! It's been nothing but a money pit. Should have done it the right way the first time like Labor suggested.

  • suewotton1950 Sue (@suewotton1950) reported

Then, there's the issue of promises of improved NBN and various other projects which I can't remember.. and wonder how many people have forgotten about his last bunch of promises... which disappeared into the ether... a bit like the disaster recovery money.
