  @Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

  And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

  Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

  @Jho5i it says its available because its in a area nbn supports. its just the place you're at doesn't have copper lines to connect to the local fiber network. you'll need to buy a 4g modem but be careful as you'll get up and down speeds and ping spikes maybe

  @SanatanaMishra Ah, I'm on FTTB now and get about the same 20 up with TPG for $60pm. I never had anything similar pre-nbn to compare it to though, so it's a massive step up from ADSL2+ for me.

  @NBN_Australia There's an NBN tech down the road, looking at the outage and told me it's major. Yet the NBN website doesn't list any outages in my area. How can that be the case, if you've dispatched a technician who has acknowledged the outage?

  @BenLeffler This is the reason I went with 5G over NBN, so many terrible stories and getting them to do anything is impossible... Hope you sort something out...

  @MyRepublicAU 5. Customer refused to use photography skills to take pics of wifi modem/Router as that would disconnect the chat line, using Hotspot as NBN connection doesn't work(The MAIN PROBLEM)!!! 6. Agent runs into bottleneck on system, can't offer any assistance without photos............

  @SanatanaMishra Correct, best option is Telstra 5G if you are near a tower. **** is insane. All the money went into private mobile internet (and even the mobile NBN options are dogshit terrible).
