Good Q. Down here in Seachange given up on the NBN. Use Telstra 4G box. Not good enough. NBN imposed.

  • KathyReid Kathy Reid, Servant of House Corgi (@KathyReid) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

  • 75b0ce8567df4cd Dave Wood (@75b0ce8567df4cd) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

  • cory_actually CORY (@cory_actually) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Vintuitive Must just be that the NBN is shit 😉🤣

  • Jaseomeara -jase- (@Jaseomeara) reported from Fenwick, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia why is it so difficult to get issues rectified? I’m stuck in a loop between you and @telstra. Two years on and our nbn is still slow. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

  • cjnetlink Cory (@cjnetlink) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

  • monicasmeow Monicasmeow🐈 (@monicasmeow) reported from Geelong, State of Victoria

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

  • gsrose Glenn Rose (@gsrose) reported

@craigreucassel @JaneCaro @NBN_Australia Imagine ordering coffee and the shop gets the order wrong. When you complain they simply apologise and say we don't do anything about customer complaints until there have been 5 mistakes in a 24 hr period. That's the NBN standard

  • SageAU 💧Mister Blister🇦🇺🎮 (@SageAU) reported

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia Switch to Aussie Broadband as your ISP. They're fantastic. It might not fix your current issue with NBN but at least you won't be "at least 4 hours in hold".

  • jmjraknight Jon J Knight (@jmjraknight) reported

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia Leave your service provider. When you change you won't pay until they can provide a service. This might light a rocket in your current provider too. Privatization of a natural monopoly with limp regulation as the only backstop. Isn't that the most Australian thing!

  • jollycentipede jollycentipede (@jollycentipede) reported

@markhumphries @craigreucassel The previous tenants took the NBN modem bcoz no 1 told them not to. It took us 4 days to have a new 1 & we were unable to identify port (there are several) for NBN. The rigmarole involving the reseller, nbn supplier, tech support and multiple call center agents !!! 😫😫

  • kitjoegia jo haley (@kitjoegia) reported

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia Ours faulty after power outage,4 days

  • ikijgfdhfd Mark Reagan (@ikijgfdhfd) reported

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia One of the worst company/countries in the world , in terms of cost, speed , service..... @NBN_Australia

  • bpritcha Blair Pritchard 🥑🥢🌐🏙🚄🛴⚡🇭🇲🇳🇿🏛 (@bpritcha) reported

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia Finally got it working at a our place after 3 years of crap internet. Switched to @AussieBroadband. It’s a bit more expensive but the hold time for support is about 2 minutes, and they really follow up. After 4 NBN tech callouts we finally started to see an improvement.

  • tonysmart57 antqld (@tonysmart57) reported

@craigreucassel @jamiemanson101 @NBN_Australia Lodge a complaint with the telco ombudsman. This will speed things up a little. I have lived this exact same nightmare.

  • napost13 napost (@napost13) reported

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia That is the problem with a monopoly. Try calling them and see if can talk to a human.

  • mishyloan Michelle (@mishyloan) reported

@craigreucassel @NBN_Australia NBN outage so I called it in, provider goes the full Sgt Shultz but book a technician. Check neighbours & all declare us too! Some f*ckwit dug up the cable. NBN deny there's a problem. I ping NSW Senator who was on NBN Hearings. Response from NBN immediate - fixed following day.
