The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Brought my own gen 2, plugged in, awesome internet. Msg thru app if I need the new Telstra box. The Call Centre India turned my internet off.

We have just moved to a HFC NBN area, had @Telstra ‘move’ our service. @NBN_Australia have no connection boxes, so 2 month wait!! This is what holds Aust back. Disappointed? You bet. #NBN #Telstra
