Summary: we almost-delivered an obsolete network not fit for purpose and now we're struggling with finding a way to make it valuable as a private asset and service our debt, and raise capital to rebuild it post-2020 instead of it being made a public utility #NBN #NBN2

And 3 out of 4 premises are now capable of connecting to the NBN! Well that is at your own risk! It's just more bullshit from government and ISP companies to scam more money from anyone stupid enough to opt for this NBN CRAP!

@Henjam48 @JaneCaro @TonyAbbottMHR @NBN_Australia They’ve been set up to fail. Like most entities that are answerable to govt. The person responsible for it all is JWH. Had Telstra not been sold in the first place, it would have continued to upgrade its network and we may not have needed an NBN on the scale the ALP envisaged.

Why is @3AW693 targeting @Telstra about the NBN and how it’ll cope with the increased load on the network. There are other providers of the NBN out there. #sheeple listening will take any slow downs or outages as being Telstra’s fault/problem.

@Shiner82480499 @abcnews The nbn was set up as a government run company. The NBN was gutted by the LNP because Rupert didn't want competition to Foxtel. There was always government funding for NBN. You have just shown how ignorant you are and how stupid you are.

I had to look up why everyone's going on about leaving Twitter. Australia's NBN is bad at the best of times compared to the rest of the world, on top of that our house isn't wired properly. Our speeds are so crap we ended up buying Starlink, so Elon will always be daddy to us 🙏

Issue with my modem/router. No NBN, only SIM. I know this is not hardship, and yet... SO FRUSTRATING. Asked my provider for priority (bc online student with assessments due) but still going to take 24-48 hrs even after escalation. Wahhh 😭 #FirstWorldProblems

@NBN_Australia I’ve done this many time over the last couple of years. Most of them read off a script. A couple have identified issues, sent it through to NBN & things improve for a couple of months then *boom* dropouts again. I’ve done everything many times over. It shouldn’t keep happening.

@frost_farms @NBN_Australia Have you replaced your modem? It worked for us. We tossed the one provided by our ISP and bought an Apple Airport Express a few years ago because of shocking speed issues but there’re probably better ones now. Also I’d change providers. We’re with iiNet/Internode.

@NBN_Australia I’m so over your utterly **** service. I really am. We pay decent money to get NBN connected to our property and all it does is drop out constantly. How can you call this a service? If you didn’t have the market sewn up you’d be out of business in no time. Your service is ****.

@NBN_Australia It’s more disappointing to be living it, I can assure you. My partner is currently trying to decide whether they need to go into work halfway through the day because the service is basically unusable today. It’s just pot luck which makes it very hard to plan anything.
