Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Musk Vale and nearby locations:

  • debramcnaughton Debra McNaughton (@debramcnaughton) reported from Daylesford, State of Victoria

@LaTrioli @NBN_Australia As we prepare for the likelihood of remote teaching, the importance of reliable, fast internet has never been more important. Instead we are asking families to let us know if they don’t have reliable internet. In 2020. 🙁

  • EmergencyBK Emergency&BushfireKits (@EmergencyBK) reported from Dales Creek, State of Victoria

@LotL20 Not at all, w/ cable, satellite & wireless NBN, dial up & mobile networks, there’s zero reasons by now that everyone shouldn’t have access. Gov. prioritising electorates with denser populations i.e. more votes, rather than equal distribution of service, as promised a decade ago.

  • anintegralstate Elizabeth Humphrys (@anintegralstate) reported

@DavidFarrugiaAU 🙏 I figured. Especially given I have zero issues on the NBN (even when I supposedly use all my data because it’s lockdown and I’m streaming too much bored senseless in the evenings)

  • GamerGranny1 Gamer Granny (@GamerGranny1) reported

@pauldutton1968 @peta_ivy_ @IndigenousX Testra and tampons will be tomorrow. The nbn, retail websites and I are so clunky - I need a lie down. Hope everyone gets through this OK.

  • crossyaus Andrew C (@crossyaus) reported

@iiNet - 2 days now without internet. affecting multiple ppl in Canberra and no eta on a fix. Something to do with nbn authentication issues. Someone promised to call me in 24 hours yesterday and then didn’t. Going to move to Telstra

  • dwightwalker Dwight Walker (@dwightwalker) reported from Brisbane, State of Queensland

Exetel NBN is down again when trying to watch Premier of Queensland announce new Ekka holiday

  • gardengnome_au Jerome Paul (@gardengnome_au) reported

@NBN_Australia The NTD box at my address needs to be hard reset a couple of times each week! and my internet service provider will not lodge a fault because it needs to happen multiple times per day or NBN co will reject the ticket. Is that true? What is the fault criteria?

  • redbigot Brian Handreck (@redbigot) reported

@dontcallmekatie 5G is a viable speed replacement if available, but more expensive on data and subject to load variation. Telstra actually have the best FTTN solution with modems having 4G failover if the NBN connection is lost.

  • KatBarclay2 Kat Barclay (@KatBarclay2) reported

@mrl58 @NSWNationals Dave has really, really bad NBN coverage at his place, being in a Regional rural area of NSW, so that might account for it? 🙃

  • twbateman Terri Bateman (@twbateman) reported

@MFWitches @abcnews Hadn't thought of the context of contact tracing with poor nbn. F#ck it's a gift that just keeps giving.

  • GarethKnapman Gareth Knapman (@GarethKnapman) reported

Trying to work with slow internet using during lockdown - knowing that every school kid is doing the same - I’m really reminded that Tony Abbott had no vision, when he said broadband NBN would only be used for watching porn!
