@optus my mum's NBN FTTC white NBN box will not get any data thru the line. Have been trying all day to get thru to technical support and that line has been "closed" all day and message is hasn't been helpful. She also has a falls monitor which should be connected but it's not

Very few errors, and they were mainly names or technical terms. For example, "The R proof for off net MBN services" should be "The ARPU for off-net NBN services" "Mark Marie Derrmann" should be "Mart-Marie Derman" Seems plausible to easily transcribe everything with this.

@Optus my NBN has been showing a reduced service for almost 24 hours and is still listed as ‘under investigation’. Any chance someone will get the investigation done soon. With downloads of 3.14mbps and uploads at 0.44mbps I can’t do anything currently

My mum broke her femur on Wed, and my brother is a non board member of the NBN. These 2 pieces of info are important because today dad -annoyed the NBN is down at home- said to my brother, “it’s a good thing our healthcare system works better than our internet” and wow savage 💀

@lesstenny @RNBreakfast I wasn’t listening this morning, but my thoughts are, rain - our infrastructure never considered there would be rain, mobile coverage infrastructure not keeping up with demand (I am 13km from Sydney GPO on a high point - hopeless with both Telstra and Optus), and NBN no doubt.

*sigh* Yay first tier ISP support, more interested that they don't know my date of birth (for obvious BS "security" reasons. Supposedly escalated to NBN, which doesn't actually seem like the correct next step, but oh well.

@safeAreaInsets @Aussie_BB Aussie’s NBN has been rock solid, to be sure. I never had an issue with speed on iiNet, but.. iiNet. Unfortunately once you eliminate pre-paid from the options, the market for Telstra-based MVNOs is limited basically to subsidiaries of Telstra. 😔

@MFWitches Yup. This. It's like the NBN roll out which was a shitfest. We got a cheap knockoff of the product we were expecting and that was because 'parties' wanted it that way. So we got crappy internet. It's ****. We won't forget it, but there aren't other options. This is the same deal.

@PinkSkyMagazine Yes, I used to get regular calls. Just hang up on anyone that mentions anything like that. Sometimes they pretend to be Telstra or NBN co. too. None of them are going to call you. They'll email.

@PinkSkyMagazine Yes - just tell them it's Roger next door. They hang up - Strangely enough, as I was typing this the recorded voice of Nicole from the NBN network rang to tell me that they are going to disconnect me. You will never get a call like this from a legitimate company. It's a scam.

@Telstra Our household has apparently been having trouble well before the NBN, supposedly it's been happening for years. I'm told we've reported it a significant number of times, but I can't get an exact number.
