Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Perth and nearby locations:

  • anniepinkstorm AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Launceston, State of Tasmania

@andrew_blow @wendy_harmer @MikeCarlton01 @sarahgerathy Senate estimates covers a lot of the boring mundane stuff that affects everyone. The problem is that some hearings are timed to avoid much journalistic scrutiny (NBN used to be on late at night, routinely) or there is so much happening at same time that some issues get neglected.

  • anniepinkstorm AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Launceston, State of Tasmania

@bigbadave @mavetju @BLShiv @NickRossTech Exactly, and the original NBN was going to solve their problems, be it on domestic level of service or business. I was paying $65 a month while neighbouring businesses were paying T $200 month. They could not use eftpos & phone at same time. I could do both + stream radio & TV

Apparently, the Aussie tech dude, yesterday, from @NBN_Australia didn't know a thing, talked up a big game, bagged the "foreign" contractors. He spent 3 hours here and didn't fix a thing. Today? A "foreign" contractor detected what was wrong in 1min. Fixed it in 15 mins. @Telstra

  • Commsday Grahame Lynch (@Commsday) reported

@mongrel43 With respect you have completely missed all my points. NBN built substantial amounts of fibre in the regions and never planned it in rural areas. Nothing was massively transformed in the former and nothing was retarded in the latter. Your OT remains hyperbolic and inaccurate

@NBN_Australia Do you know how hard it is for us to trouble shoot your network when it is a black box. I have asked my ISP for you to do a cable inspection.

  • dwightwalker Dwight Walker (@dwightwalker) reported

backhoe operators can't destroy wireless like they can cut cables so easily and so repeatedly due to poor management of machinery by local council in #Caboolture #5G #4G @NBN_Australia

  • reynery03 Reynaldo Nery (@reynery03) reported

@TPG_Telecom internet is still down. Day 2 now. Holroyd area… no notifications are posted on NBN or TPG sites..

  • tim_rust Tim Rust (@tim_rust) reported

@kels_316 @erfbeeass I had problems with a FTTC service not synching (after working ok). The nbn tech found it was the double jumper hadn't been removed after cutover from the old dslam

  • 68dodgephoenix Andrew Halliday (@68dodgephoenix) reported

@Craigflyfisher @hughriminton Craig, government is in 3rd term, 9th year, the party has been in power 19 of last 25 years. Have seen a decline in trade training, skills, infrastructure sold to O/S companies, decline in manufacturing, dumbing down of NBN, outsourcing for profit of welfare, attacks on medicare

  • jarrod1975 Jarrod (@jarrod1975) reported

@DangerousDaveW Yes, I was listening via my laptop. Maybe there was a problem with the stream, or could have just been a NBN issue. Dangerous, I thought it was strange. Anyway, have a good night.

@NBN_Australia hi was just wondering do your technicians use out dated navigation tools? I have been waiting since the 27/10/21 to be connected and my provider is telling me the issue is you can’t find my address.
