    Guess whose NBN is down

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia I am not having trouble. Your systems are clearly broken if that situation can be marked as fixed.

  • phazzles OnlyPhazz (@phazzles) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

NBN techs were at the end of my street but they have gone. Internet still down

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@reubenfarrelly @NBN_Australia I have also been reporting this to NBN since January. Finally got some traction on it this week (in that they acknowledged it with a ticket number and a phone call). My own property has issues too - they called about my poor aerial install and told me my lead-in is underground.

  • RobertA888888 Robert Anderson (@RobertA888888) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@AlboMP The LNP hasn’t ever been constructive. Never mind the GFC. Cuts to health, aged care, ABC. Screwed up NBN, reduced funding for foreign aid, refusal to reform franking credits, unsustainable tax cuts for the well off, global warming inaction. Stop me.

  • DjuroSen Djuro Sen (@DjuroSen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@CGK700 @TimgGilbert If you get a one - plug it into the LAN port of the router - set up the mesh network. You won’t need the WIFI from the NBN router so best to turn that off if you can. The mesh network can handle everything.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NewtonMark @NBN_Australia I got a response from the complaints team today, re-sending me the email claiming it was fixed. NO SHIT SHERLOCK - TAKE A LOOK AT THE FSCKING PHOTOS AND TELL ME IF IT LOOKS FIXED AS YOUR EMAIL CLAIMS. Sorry for that, but the lack of giving-a-fsck from your end is astonishing.

1/2 It should be illegal for @Telstra to force a customer (me) to connect to the NBN when other internet options at this address are available (ADSL, cable). It should be doubly illegal, when they can’t even provide NBN because even though I’m “NBN Ready” (its connected to the

  • TheMikeOD Michael O'Donnell (@TheMikeOD) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

A full NBN outage while working from home is really not ideal

  • fictillius 🦠 Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NewtonMark It’ll help them with the purchase of the NBN.

  • maznar Maree Nardone 🧘🏻‍♂️ (@maznar) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I wonder if @TurnbullMalcolm will talk about in his memoirs how He thought Australians don't want fast speed internet. Working from home is an absolute disaster with slow NBN #novision #couldhavedonebetter

  • jshieldsphoto J Man (@jshieldsphoto) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Nbn tech is here, having a right old prick of a time. 80/6 isn’t a 100/40 plan however. Fix it!

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@iPilko @bigjsl @NBN_Australia A contractor actually showed up, but said it isn't something he could fix, but he was having it assigned to a different team. Callout for him, his offsider and their truck was several hundred dollars (a high single-digit number of hundreds).

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@marcuskelson @AussiemacJ @Telstra Took us 147days to get a existing service connected & now half the download speed for what we pay........but the real problem is the LNP Government that destroyed our NBN 👎🏽👎🏾👎🏿💩🤡💩💸💸

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@RonniSalt Didn't work in Europe why are we any different, listening to Shoutyface & stupid NBN Fletcher they are out of their depth......."but it will be mandated".......hmmmmm.......just another distraction

  • LucaAndolfo Luca Andolfo (@LucaAndolfo) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra I can’t reach out your customer service. I ordered the NBN package for a commercial use, Ordered 2 weeks ago!!! We urgently need someone to contact us!!!! Shocking

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@bigjsl @iPilko @NBN_Australia He literally was not equipped to fix it. This requires digging up conduit and climbing a power pole. They were equipped to do basic cable repairs, not civil engineering work.

  • simon300376 Simon H (@simon300376) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TPG_Telecom @NBN_Australia Was booked for technician to attend today between 8-12 today and a NO SHOW. No call, email or txt to explain. The usual poor performance.

  • LucaConfa80 Luca Confalonieri (@LucaConfa80) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Thanx for the reply but been through those steps multiple times with no avail. Already lodged two complaints, spend hours on phone, got an NBN technician here... But still no solution. Extremely disappointed

  • damienvenditti damien venditti (@damienvenditti) reported

@theage @Chris_Murray48 @hijessicayun So Rudd planned for NBN. The Libs decided to go with copper instead of fibre, blow the budget and provide **** internet. Labor now have to upgrade it to fibre NBN as first planned, but some rubes think that’s Labor’s fault?

  • BrowntownBrew Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported

@Tayzlor @NBN_Australia Telecoms network is critical infrastructure that was in the hands of a company that bled it dry to expand its mobile network. NZ Telecom did the right thing and participated in the fibre rollout. Telstra wouldn't because they were greedy under the leadership of Sol

  • nate1947_79 Nathan (@nate1947_79) reported

@NBN_Australia I documented my internet speed before and after NBN was installed so I've got to ask was the NBN just to monitor people's online content or to throttle down speed and or both? I documented with video and photo of the actual installation the and speed performance 🤯

  • dkhodaverdian Daniel Khodaverdian (@dkhodaverdian) reported

@FinancialReview The NBN network is already outdated and its not even finished. The LNP made sure of that the day they trashed it. Once 5G and then 6G is freely available no one will use this crap. Paying thousands to connect fibre to the premise from the street just for a measly 100mbps. Genius.

  • lemsdeb1 le_ms_deb (@lemsdeb1) reported

@QuentinDempster @Peter20074170 Totally agree. It shits me that my rural agricultural electorate so blindly re-elects a Nat. Blatant climate change deniers & mining enablers. Sold out on the NBN (we pay a fortune for crappy satellite) Fail to advocate for better health services access & now oppose the Voice😡

  • jckmac7 kayd (@jckmac7) reported

@NBN_Australia Thanks Khan. I am well aware of the providers & did my research. However it's their actual service. What they promise & what you get are vastly different.

  • freakcinemas kira (@freakcinemas) reported

    My internet cut out at Mitch’s solo …. When I get u @ NBN_Australia

  • VaxxedCynic SpaceKarenSux (she/her) (@VaxxedCynic) reported

@NBN_Australia @jedi_jesus0 @John77167223 Where to start. Constant disconnection. No service when it rains. The number of times I end up on 3G because NBN doesn’t work is ridiculous

  • VaxxedCynic SpaceKarenSux (she/her) (@VaxxedCynic) reported

@jedi_jesus0 @John77167223 @NBN_Australia I’m in Coogee NSW and it sucks here too

  • LM06411887 LM (@LM06411887) reported

@JayJay91341991 Hopefully teals/independents will start attacking the Nationals seats. The Nationals are all about mining and fossil fuels - they sell out regional people's interests all the time. NBN - sell out, Fracking - sell out, Social issues - sell out. I don't get it.
