    @trevorlong To be fair, they had to offer 40% additional CVC bandwidth, and streaming providers have cut the visual quality of their product to help the NBN cope. Whilst a lot of the problems with the NBN are not actually @NBN_Australia's fault, they do get a lot wrong.

    @joshh_dp @daddy_no_ It also done within minutes if you already have NBN - whether it’s node, curb, hfc or fibre - a decent ISP (like AussieBB) can have your service activated within the hour. Fibre just means you can have more than one service at once

    Typical. @NBN_Australia connection down since 4:34pm. Now we have a "Scheduled Outage" from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Conveniently, this stops any "unscheduled outage " timers they might be measured against...

    Oh good. Yet another 9 hour outage window for “scheduled maintenance” where the notification arrives after the internet has already gone down. Sure would be nice if @NBN_Australia didn’t do maintenance during the hours most people work.

    @ajpalm Nearly all the users I support are on the NBN and across all the fixed technology types. A few were on ADSL and we’ve moved them across to NBN. HFC has some known issues that need fixing but that’s an organisational problem not a problem with the technology.

    Trouble is with this #NBN SHITTING ITSELF constantly. My daughter relies on it for her Animation work. Having to use her phone as a hotspot is costly and slow. And they want more to work from home. Bet it's going real well... Not.

    Super impressed with these new @Aussie_BB 1000/50 plans. Just downloaded a file at 105MB/s (1GB came down in less than 10s) which I never thought I'd get at home. More upstream would be nice though. *looks at NBN co*

    @NBN_Australia @VodafoneAU NBN is an absolute debacle. Next Door neighbour gets 100mb and I’m barely pulling down 30 mbs a second with drop outs. @Telstra and their crap copper roll out. Absolutely disgusted in the lack of care and accountability on the spend of public funds.

    @moylecroft @Aussie_BB Mine went through a phase of dropping all the time, turned out to be a crap NTD. NBN guy took one look at the serial number and went to get a replacement. Mine was dropping maybe 10 times a day...
