So not only have we not had home internet for 2 weeks, we've been constantly stuffed around by Telstra. NBN techs claimed we needed a new modem and there was a delay on that. On top of this the portable wifi modem we were given is now broken and we had to pay for that as well!

@NBN_Australia Wanna know what’s even more frustrating? No appointment booked today so I went into work. Someone just called saying they’ve arrived to install. Where is the communication?? No appointment was booked. I can’t tailor my entire working life around a service provider this unreliable

I connected the modem as per instructions and got connected to broadband. However, the connection was do unreliable that it would drop out every few minutes—contacted Telstra for resolution. After a few calls it was established than the problem is with NBN box

@NBN_Australia scheduled maintenance from 7.30am-4 pm for up to 4 weekdays makes working from home challenging. Even more so when usually good 4G coverage coincidentally drops to less than 1 bar. Working from a park in search of more bars not the solution I hoped for!

A removal van ripped down the @telstra nbn cable to my house and after 4 hours on the phone, and being sent the wrong technician, all I’ve been told is a specialist will “contact me within 24 hours”
