@Scott_John @TaodeHaas First applied for NBN in March. After many false starts, broken appointments, interruptions, countless phone calls complaints , the whole show, it was finally connected in late April. It drops out at least once a day. It’s a nuisance I didn’t want, but had to have.

@rohan_connolly Hopefully the NBN goes down, and no one is subjected to music before most lived

@optoio fibre requires almost no maintenance once done. Once it's spliced into the joints, there's almost nothing to be done, NBN going for a GPON network means much of it is passive and low admin.

@NBN_Australia @DodoAustralia why is my internet now slow as ? I usually sit at 30 ping now sitting at 100-200 making the internet useless. I have checked the outage map and it says no outages. What’s happening. Fix it.

@deemadigan Hmm connection dropouts can be a CVC issue (amount of bandwidth Telstra buys from nbnco). If it is happening a lot at times of day (ie weeknights & weekends) then I would suggest a switch to another provider like @Aussie_BB who’ve got their nbn CVC sorted.

@deemadigan @Telstra We had the same problem and got sick of the run around after every single NBN and Telstra connection points had been replaced. We switched providers and presto no more constant drop out and slow speed.Havent looked back.

@amber_m @betterbushcomms @tamaleaver 2/2 Continually at BIRRR we see connectivity literacy is the issue. People tell those in rural areas they can’t connect, can’t get NBN etc. People are confused and try to rely on 3G/4G for data as opposed to using SM+, or getting the correct router.

Fckn dumb that as an Aussie on the nbn with unlimited speeds it's faster to download if I set my **** to new Zealand

@Qld_Steve They usually tell me a hacker is on my network I say "True, I am a hacker, give me sec while I back trace your call" The smart ones say "you can't" (VOIP, right?) I then say "I work for NBN, look at the number you dialled, its a special trace number" Generally they hang up then.

@deemadigan @Telstra Sometimes it’s the area you live in. I now hotspot off my phone, I had slow NBN & seemed to do better just using my phone so cut it off. Apparently where I live isn’t great for coverage.

@adriancantrill Their own numbers showed that they were NEVER going to meet the budget figure they ran on for the NBN. It wasn't even close. And the cost for FTTP was only going up as time went on and the quick-wins were completed, not going down. Fortunately there are alternatives now.

@SatPaper @ChristineMilne @pollyjhemming And as further Abbott legacy the nbn is down again as the 70 year old corroded copper wires have once again fallen off the connectors in the street
