@Scott_John @TaodeHaas First applied for NBN in March. After many false starts, broken appointments, interruptions, countless phone calls complaints , the whole show, it was finally connected in late April. It drops out at least once a day. It’s a nuisance I didn’t want, but had to have.

@PaulFletcherMP @NBN_Australia #Fraudband just an announcement no delivery, what your really doing is spinning, rewriting history, prop duplicating failed network, retrofitting! Hiding the biggest policy, infrastructure disasters in history. Making us pay more for fixed lines we can no longer connect.

@Aussie_BB We’re on NBN though and have had the issue for 24 hours. Have restarted the modem multiple times. We aren’t opticomm to my knowledge, we are FTTN NBN, but when I called yesterday was told our connection was part of the ongoing outage.

@AlboMP At least we have NBN. We'd still be waiting if it was fibre. Besides that pit looks pretty normal. You've obviously never looked at one before.

Has anyone signed up to Aussie broadband NBN from scratch? How long does the full process take? in days? I think now is the time to leave @Internode. Been a customer since 2007, for what

@netz_melb @AlboMP If we went from it from the start it would have been finished this year. The LNP's NBN is ****, so it doesn't actually represent an improvement worth the money.

@belindasmilne @geoffrey_payne @AlboMP NBN working with the copper mess that Telstra left. Had been bodging up our phone service for ever. Ask anyone who had a clue, should have been fibre. But no! Had to go ‘cheap’? Screwed Australia’s digital future.

@VictoriaFreshy @AlboMP To be fair thats not the govt fault but NBN's fault for poor planning. The govt didnt individually plan and place each and every pit or wire, come on mate if your going to hate on them at least choose something that's actually their fault

@AlboMP @vanbadham Telstra doesn’t accept responsibility for the state of their phone pit, as they are rented out to NBN. They insist it isn’t their problem

Wow ! Like our ABC ,ike our NBN and now the Postal Service has been defunded to such an extent that a letter from Sydney to Perth can take 10 days , A woeful situation as many pensioners are being hit by Telcos and utilities for late payment charges .This Govt needs the boot

@jfmezei @Bryson_M And yet, these are all issues that OpenReach, Swisscom and the NBN figured out. Of course it's going to vary on a line-by-line basis but *these are solved problems*.
