@Ann_dLandes The UK’s Network Rail manages the rail tracks but private companies run the trains. Ior Australia’s NBN Co sets up and runs the broadband network and others supply the connections. Is that the sort of organisation you are thinking of?

  • kokolopa kokolopa (@kokolopa) reported

@RuncibleH Lazy over paid fekkers at NBN… promised they’d convert FTTN in Tassie but still stuck with the inferior 3rd world service

  • R_Chirgwin Richard Chirgwin (@R_Chirgwin) reported

The NBN Statement of Intent is one of the dullest documents you could find, but its evident relief at being able to say "fibre is inherently faster and more reliable than copper" is a treat.

  • SoroAsahi Noel Sorensen (@SoroAsahi) reported

@Telstra Rang Telstra faults and told “we’re at the mercy of NBN” told by Ben it would be resolved by 5:30am but the NBN team work business hours. WTF????

  • bingewatchers1 Gandu Bai (@bingewatchers1) reported

@VodafoneAU any idea why the NBN is down in my area 2763? Wfh and it's a nightmare that I don't have internet since midnight

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported

@PKambara Hi there. Sorry to hear about the poor experience you've had with your NBN relocation. This definitely isn't the level of service we strive to achieve. We'd be more than willing to assist further. Please send us a DM so we can investigate - Nard

  • PaulHenry524 Google it mate! 🙄 💉 (@PaulHenry524) reported

@glengyron ... during his Senate estimates testimony, I'll never understand. Trumble's (at Abbott's behest) NBN blew from $25BN to 50. Orig FTTP billions below the blowout current cost. And Paul Budde saying last week those nodes will be scrapped and they'll have to redo FTTP. Simples /rant

  • glensavill glen savill (@glensavill) reported

@QandA Well is this not another problem created by Malcom Turnbull's great NBN plan to build it as cheap as possible but not fit for perpose

  • david_boxall David Boxall 🇦🇺 (@david_boxall) reported

@MonoHighBrow @RuncibleH Privatisation has always been the plan for the NBN. The telecommunications network is one of many de-privatisations that Australia desperately needs. Who was it who said that insanity is repeating an action and expecting a different outcome?

  • ProfessorTanaka Professor Tanaka (@ProfessorTanaka) reported

@Optus I get this message every week. Hi there, the NBN Co is working on the network in your area... I'm starting to think this is just a ploy to stop people calling their worst in class call centres?
