@Optus - technical issues nbn. Your system will not allow me to contact you, previously a deceased estate now in my name - tried to call - no operator's told to use my optus, when I put my details-says not found. I have an email confirming my details from you -no internet urgent

@JoanBloggs @Scamwatch_gov I was informed in Feb 2019 that NBN was coming to our area. Now 17 months later it still isn't on. We have had those scam NBN calls for all that time! Telstra told me THEY will contact me when connection is imminent & to hang up on those scam calls.

Never had such a pain dealing with anyone as much as the @NBN_Australia No option to contact them directly for support... hand balling it to the ISP who are in the dark just as much as I am.

They may have the money but it would take time to make a DDS TV station. Equipment needs to be prepped. They could simply transfer NBN to channel 2 but they don't have signal strength to cover the archipelago

  • pgcOneMoon Peter Combe (@pgcOneMoon) reported

@BlotReport Never use Telstra's speed test. Google Measurement Labs. It's an industry tool and more honest than anything from Telstra. My NBN was so slow gifs buffered. Telstra stalled for 8 months even with the TIO pushing them. Multiple cancelled visits from the NBN.

  • Gh0st1y_ Ghostly (@Gh0st1y_) reported

@Telstra how can my internet suffer an nbn outage, if it isn't yet connected to the nbn?????

  • gstewart009 Graham Stewart (@gstewart009) reported

@jo_prendergast Mine varies between 1 red and three green depending on weather conditions. Signal is affected by moisture in the air and on tree leaves which reduces the signal. NBN installers usually try to get 3 green when installing but not always possible.

I'm pretty sure ISP's in Aus are starting to throttle speeds now. Or are going to. I've had multiple instances of extremely slow speeds that last a few hours. And as someone who regular does upkeep for the family and is on an unlimited NBN 100 plan, I know it's not a local issue
