@ZachWeiner Part of the other side of the issue was that once the NBN came into your area, the original phone lines shut down, so you had to get an NBN plan. A lot of telcos shoved people onto a 12 Mbps plan, which was never designed for internet use, only as a phone line

@mrgb63 @prudinx @AlboMP With great respect for the police, in my experience their typing speed might make slow internet speed imperceptable? I'm sure this has improved with the advent of millenials in the force. But seriously, NBN is non existant where its needed most. #LNPCrimeSyndicate ripped us off

@AlboMP @stemplemanmp @MRowlandMP The NBN didn't fail him. The LNP NBN failed him. Very different from the original project.

FMD NBN down for over an hour went down right in the middle of something really important. NOT HAPPY JAN

@PaulFletcherMP Shame I'm not home to come and have a chat. Maybe you can come fix our NBN down the road.

  • Gergyl Gerg (@Gergyl) reported

But no one was ever held to account for this litany of 'regional' rubbish. Technology will save us, says the automaton liar. (AYMK we don't use NBN fixed wireless; instead prefer to take a telco 4G mobile service, which is cheaper, no external antenna needed, and get to choose.)

@ParamountPlusAU Streaming issues , finding the app on the smart tv .. loading the app .. buffering on the NBN ..just the same oas Optus on epl .. fox sports was much better .. not streaming they just don’t work on live sport

@SarkiAdan @AlboMP Election campaigns need money and media. He won’t get media coverage until the thing is declared. Until then he’d be silly to gift the opposition with something to target. But his recent NBN announcement went down well.

@Wayno_Neill @JohnBirmingham My brother has been waiting 6 months to get nbn connection ...though I think its something that attached at the house that is the problem.

  • Yo_Ross we r dna (@Yo_Ross) reported

@kels_316 @_BertHandsome No, but it’s easier to take a photo of a phone displaying the speed test than running it through a PC connected to the wired line. Is it beyond the realm of possibility that the actual NBN connection is really poor?
