@ZachWeiner Part of the other side of the issue was that once the NBN came into your area, the original phone lines shut down, so you had to get an NBN plan. A lot of telcos shoved people onto a 12 Mbps plan, which was never designed for internet use, only as a phone line

@wheresvito @SpaceX Yeah my buddy Fursty uses Starlink as he can’t get NBN (DSL broadband) where he is. His only issue is occasional drop outs when it changes satellites.

So according to @NBN_Australia and @iiNet the only solution is to wait until the next time they disconnect my service, pay to have it reconnected, and then go without internet for a week until it’s finally reconnected

@reednicholas Hey Nicholas, thanks so much for your patience 💙 The earlier issues in SA & NT have been resolved and services are coming back online. If you're not back up & running please reset your modem and/or nbn box. If you're still having trouble after that please send us a DM. -Lizzie

@Optus the moment I thought it can't get any worse your customer support team happened. Trying to reach your tech support about the NBN issues. When called upon either they talk about how we can provide you with the new service or keep connecting me to one to another.

@Cacotopos Apparently hackers had taken over my NBN and these guys were going to help. I tapped out at 30 minutes and told the girls her mother was disappointed in her.
