@ZachWeiner Part of the other side of the issue was that once the NBN came into your area, the original phone lines shut down, so you had to get an NBN plan. A lot of telcos shoved people onto a 12 Mbps plan, which was never designed for internet use, only as a phone line

@VodafoneAU Our nbn modem has had its 4g backup lights on for most of the day and aren’t turning off. Is there a way to fix this? As the speeds aren’t what I’d like for gaming while the backup lights are on

@NBN_Australia When is the NBN going to provide equivalent backup power to the old telephone network? How long did an exchange stay powered before? How long does the battery in an FTTN node last now? How long does the HFC network run without mains power?

@Optus I'd hardly call 6mbps "NBN" I'm paying for 100mbps... and I expect 100mbps when I need it this time of the bloody year! There's no outages in my area, I've done all the troubleshooting, you best be figuring this **** out.

@Telstra Hi Telstra team. Is there an nbn outage in 3186? Can’t even check on your outages page.

@NBN_Australia How much power has the FTTN and HFC networks consumed vs a full FTTP rollout? How much money has spent on copper that is already being replaced by fibre? How many people are forced to commute to the office before you deliver the FTTP network we should have had?

@doctormcdougall @turna23 @Optus Wait until they assure you that 'you will not be charged for the period of no service'. Then promptly charge you anyway. That's my favourite part about being an Optus NBN customer. The worst telco in Oz (except for all the others)

@shamcfc @Kildareman2 @Independent_ie I don't wish to defend incompetence but the printer is in the building, the NCH is not a few bill over budget, and NBN, yeah that's just a **** up. And yeah, i don't give a flip about the envelopes in the greater scheme of things.

@Optus why is my NBN lagging like a dog going to the vet? Streaming one TV show (no other household usage) is far too much for you? Switch over to 4G just for advertising? This is poor service that has gone on for weeks now. Had enough.

@NBN_Australia It would help if you focused on network reliability. I have had significant outages and slow internet over the past few weeks. Reported to Telstra, but they are useless. The whole reporting system for consumer faults is poorly handled.
