@TurnbullMalcolm Backflip, Malcolm, backflip. The NBN should have been optical fibre and NO COPPER in the 1st place. Malcolm Turnbull & Tony ABORT will forever be remembered for inflicting Australia with the 67th best (ie: terrible) internet on planet Earth. #Auspol
@TurnbullMalcolm This is a poor article using the very same short-sightedness that resulted in the multi tech mix mistake in the first place. There is no way around it: Australia lost a decade of progress, productivity and billions upon billions of misspent dollars. #nbn #nbnfail
@joybelle05 I agree, my husband insists on watching NBN Newcastle news which wasn’t too bad & had lot’s of local content but lately they’ve been running the same manipulated headlines as Nine News Sydney. I find the @abcnews offensive now but he watches that too
@Gadgets_S_J @JohnRHewson I am in Central Queensland , we dont have copper to the premises and the NBN microwave tower bandwidth is intermittent and poor .There is no way they will run fibre to my place , but its always only about the capital cities ... isnt it .
@JohnRHewson Not even part of the picture. If a lot of people decided to use 5G as their home broadband then it would end up like trying to squeeze a football through a garden hose. They need to fix the NBN for fixed home broadband but all they're doing is window dressing it for a sucker sale
@SteveRezdo @JohnRHewson Oh this disappointing, I'm out in the bush with crap nbn, 12 months old and worse than the old adsl. I was wondering whether Skymuster could be better, does 5g have anything do with the satellite service?
@The_asangam Hi, NBN Co has advised that the outage is still not resolved. As per them, the power distributor has still not advised n restoration time for the said issue. -Mel
@JohnRHewson Depends on the speeds of the 5G Network - Conpare the data speeds of 5G with that which has been promised with the NBN - take I to consideration that Gvt has destroyed the NBN & will prob Never achieve Full Potential
No NBN at home for an hour. Another DNS issue with Telstra, my modem finally die, or did someone trip over a cable again?
@BLShiv @JohnRHewson Using my experience with NBN Fixed Wireless as a guide, it is suitable for private purposes eg email, provided that periods with slow speeds are tolerated. I mean so slow that audio transmission is interrupted & page loading freezes. Zoom meetings are out of the question.
