@peter_c_william @NickRossTech Wonder if he actually engages with the key stakeholders - ie The Australian Public! #nbn So over @NBN_Australia pathetic excuses and covering for the poor decisions of the last 7 years. No wonder many jumped ship when the cards were on the table

  • Technorants
Technorants (@Technorants) reported from Canberra, ACT

Guarantee #NBN have the latency and packet loss data on its microwave links. They have it @AUSenator . It's basic Network management

  • Maragle2
Sasquatch (@Maragle2) reported from Canberra, ACT

Thoughtful NBN fibre additions just announced, only the cynical would consider it a deliberate pre-election ploy. Scott n Co would never do such a thing. Tasmania, ACT and NT are not part of this initiative, there words to be said over this which would attract a "disappearance"

  • Steve_Pesic

Everyone giving scomo grief for leadership but the bosses from Telstra and NBN should be high on the list for poor leadership, thousands of people with no phones or internet, hours, days, weeks and months spent by people just trying to use a service in Australia in 2020...

  • AlexDunnin
alex dunnin (@AlexDunnin) reported from Canberra, ACT

@DendyCanberra big problems with the movie system tonite. It’s like they’re streaming it thru a dodgy NBN connection and the buffering is on dial-up. So bad they’ve just rebooted the system. Extraordinary.

  • garydlum
Gaz 🖖 (@garydlum) reported from Canberra, ACT

@benny_132 @horrorfan4129 @Telstra Thanks. I've been waiting on hold. I will hang up and get on with my day. I feel sorry for people relying on #nbn for their livelihood when these things happen.

  • ianpmcleod
Ian McLeod (@ianpmcleod) reported from Canberra, ACT

@Deligracy No, this is closely guarded but what is wisely known is classifying the NBN as a commercially entity, to keep it off the national books (making them look better) means nodes are up to 500m distant. Upgrading to fibre won't fix NBN pricing (congestion) as a result either.

Hey @Kynes3 - your notification announcement time and customer service is better than @NBN_Australia - posted 48 mins ago

  • TVofCarringbush
Trivalve (@TVofCarringbush) reported from Canberra, ACT

@CharlieKeegan1 @masonsixtencox Maybe they should get a few kegs and fix the NBN while they're at it!

  • Ian__P
Ian (@Ian__P) reported from Canberra, ACT

@ajamesbragg @AlboMP I'd raise the issue of #NBN advertising which seems wasteful and pointless given they aren't retailing to consumers directly.

  • skwashd
Dave Hall aka Not Funny (@skwashd) reported from Canberra, ACT

@gusworldau @NBN_Australia It’s frustrating when you know more about the problem than the person copying and pasting boilerplate yet you’re powerless to fix it.

  • Colincopeland2
Col Copeland (@Colincopeland2) reported from Canberra, ACT

@MConallin I use mobile bb lte. That speeds are fast butt but no consistent. I average around the 20-30gbs Some times up to 170mbs down. I don't have nbn or adsl, so I'm not complaining

  • Technorants
Technorants (@Technorants) reported from Canberra, ACT

@peter_c_william @RichardTuffin @NBN_Australia Project Management failure at all levels. Including piss poor contractor management. You could have the best tools available (aka Engineers) and still use them incorrectly...#nbn

  • Technorants
Technorants (@Technorants) reported from Canberra, ACT

@DonWestley1 @TheCalebBond @theMickMorris @SkyNewsAust @Foxtel Yep, you will probably find I have tweeted that video a few times already ;) It must be tricky to do a story for SkyNews on the #NBN without loosing you job by blaming the Libs - words were carefully chosen to make the entire NBN concept look bad...it's not, obviously.

  • Elias_Hallaj
💧 Elias Hallaj (@Elias_Hallaj) reported from Canberra, ACT

Australia is drowning, rather than surfing, thanks to ScoMo’s LNP. “... after spending $51 billion on a second-rate obsolete network the Coalition government’s plan for the NBN has been a total failure”. #AusPol

  • Lindday8

@Telstra NBN speed slow and dropping out in Flynn act is there issue

  • Technorants
Technorants (@Technorants) reported from Canberra, ACT

Poor capacity management at the #nbn drop in tent at #CanberraShow by @NBN_Australia - already out of #StressBalls Totally devo 🤣😂😂😂 Not surprised that NBN keeps on disappointing

  • ClarkGreenaway
Clark Greenaway🇦🇺 (@ClarkGreenaway) reported from Canberra, ACT

@toadmeister @guardian Sorry Toby, you are being mislead by the Guardian as usual. Netflix states you need 5Mbs for HD quality viewing. Every Australian on the NBN has at least 10Mbs connection. The ALP stated the NBN would cost $40 billion dollars not $15 and it was never going to happen for that.

  • Technorants
Technorants (@Technorants) reported from Canberra, ACT

    @NBN_Australia @UncleAl60932514 Tweak plans = poor Project management = ad-hoc mess. #nbn

@LCHF_Matt @SkyNewsAust Hilarious so how is that done via NBN. How do fire, emergency services weather services, local, state and federal government agencies do this in one area. Being done now. How does an emergency text system send warnings that have gigs of data. You’re just proving you have no idea

  • trickyidnego
    Millicent Bystander (@trickyidnego) reported

I look at this guy and all I see is rorted ****** internet. We have such poor leaders in Australia that they cant even recognise how basic, how integral, stuff like the nbn is to Australia. Still fixing yr mistakes, so stfu

  • oxhak
    Ox HaK (@oxhak) reported

Australia’s NBN said a new fiber internet test reached speeds above 200 gigabits per second, far beyond today’s 2 gigabit service levels.

  • consensusadidem
    James (@consensusadidem) reported

@schaeffer_phil @DavidCrisafulli Nothing to do with the NBN, that was a matter of national security an essential service, EVs & chargers are not, they're a boutique luxury. How many EVs are there in Yamba & how many chargers are there.? How far apart are they? I'll bet: 1. very few; 2. as above; 3. not far.

  • Katy_Cat_Jessie
    KatyCatJess (@Katy_Cat_Jessie) reported

@Optus told me i could have s refund on my nbn bill after i told them i was going to ACCC and then conveniently the chat got disconnected (my mobile service also with optus. cant wait to be finished on that contract!) then its off to literally any other provider

  • twoshedslegit
    twoshedslegit (@twoshedslegit) reported

@xeveriano1 @4mambo My speed went from 40 under the LNP to over 500 under Labor after FREE NBN upgrades. We got free fibre to the premises after the LNP’s ridiculous and stupidly slow fibre to the node

@deniseshrivell All the telcos are pushing nbn. I’ve been on 5g for 4 yrs after issues with NBN. Last week my power adapter died on the router & they tried to convince me I needed a new NBN plan because 5g doesn’t work at our address. I gave up and bought a power adapter for $12 … 1/2

  • Ftksuke235
    Boyd Rose (@Ftksuke235) reported

@NBN_Australia Why has there been 5 outages in the span of 3 weeks at my address? One planned outage followed by 4 unplanned. Getting beyond a joke now.

Agaiinnnnnnn @Telstra again. A war widow with a serious heart condition without the use of her phone because of an nbn outage. But how does that affect the mobile phone useage Youre the absolute worst company. She feels cut off from the world. But hey she has the internet
