Hey @NBN_Australia. Is there any way I can sign up for outage notifications for an address? Got caught out by a maintenance outage tonight.

  • twistieman Tristan Davey (@twistieman) reported from Townsville, State of Queensland

@Richard33878882 @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia It’ll be the NBN network termination device (NTD) that has failed, not his modem/router. There are a variety of these are used on FTTP, FTTC, HFC and fixed wireless installs. NBNCo operates these units inside your property, and only they can service/replace them.

  • SEdwards0108 Scott Edwards 💉 (@SEdwards0108) reported from Townsville, State of Queensland

I think I spent about 3.5 hours trying to arrange an NBN service provider change. Success to be determined soon (I hope).

  • SEdwards0108 Scott Edwards 💉 (@SEdwards0108) reported from Townsville, State of Queensland

Good morning @Telstra Our NBN is not working and I can't find any outage information anywhere online. Was working fine last night.

  • twistieman Tristan Davey (@twistieman) reported from Townsville, State of Queensland

We need to invest in huge nation-building projects; a national grid to support renewables, divestment in fossil-fuel base load, a renewed NBN with speed guarantees and equal access for every Australian, a high-speed rail network to connect Australia’s major centres.

Looks like @NBN_Australia has cancelled our BOOKED job for today without notification (to us or telstra). @Telstra who booked the job was no help. Would get a supervisor to call me back. Second time this has happened.

  • pjbrisbane Licorice PJ (@pjbrisbane) reported

@x_sammy_xo For getting set up, I’d go with Aussie. They’re not the cheapest, but they have great customer support and I had zero issues getting NBN to a newly build house.

  • CrankYanker2 CrankYanker🇸🇾🇵🇸🇾🇪🇲🇲🇦🇫🇺🇦🏳️‍🌈💉💉💉💉 (@CrankYanker2) reported

@Russycook @BreakfastNews @AustralianLabor We won’t forget the NBN mess created under the LNP on behalf of Murdoch who was determined to keep his rubbish satellite tv service and crappy newspapers going

  • MinhKular Socialist Sewer Rat 🐀🐁 (@MinhKular) reported

@cath_oco We've never even had proper mobile phone services least of all NBN in Cape York ...

  • DoctorDoctorBi Bi, Mian - MBBS PhD (@DoctorDoctorBi) reported

@Xtrackka @DrKate_Miller People got narky cause it was terrible at what it did and cost a absolute fortune. Sounds like our gutted NBN…

  • Markyffekt Markyffekt (@Markyffekt) reported

So Aussie Broadband said #NBN wont do anything to fix my internet because it has to be dropping out more than 5 times a day So if your internet drops out 4 times everyday Regardless of how long its out.. They wont do anything... How is this even a thing???

  • mchlcpr Michael Cooper (@mchlcpr) reported

BEWARE! I had 3 very strange calls to my mobile today within space of 10 minutes. The first (which I answered after it rang twice) threatened that my nbn service would be disconnected within 24 hours if I did not respond by pressing 1 (I think), at which time I shut it down.

  • borgc 💧Carmen Borg 🇲🇹 (@borgc) reported

@iTnews_au While NBN has stuffed the 4G fixed wireless. Just destroyed my internet use. Takes all day to open a received email. Constant drop out. Damn you, pack of Mafia criminals.

  • LJPatton Laurie Patton is The Lucky General (@LJPatton) reported

@RNBreakfast @SabraLane Congratulations to @PaulFletcherMP for recognising that his predecessors stuffed up the #NBN. But would moves to fix it be happening if we weren’t about to have an election?

  • fan_nq Lawrie 🐮🤠🐊🐠🐍🐬🌴🦋 (@fan_nq) reported

@CassCoastRegion @Optus @TelstraBcast the mobile phone reception at Kennedy, Carruchan and Ellebeck is very choppy. Nigh on impossible to use sometimes. Is it possible to fix it? Because phone is still the cheapest option compared to wifi/nbn. Thanks for your time
