@Richard33878882 @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia It’ll be the NBN network termination device (NTD) that has failed, not his modem/router. There are a variety of these are used on FTTP, FTTC, HFC and fixed wireless installs. NBNCo operates these units inside your property, and only they can service/replace them.

I think I spent about 3.5 hours trying to arrange an NBN service provider change. Success to be determined soon (I hope).

@NBN_Australia I work from home and with no warning or means of recourse, my internet has been shut off with no information regarding network status on your page, nor does my ISP have any idea why this was done. NBN gave me INC17163857. I will be pursuing financial compensation.

@gmail I have it all sorted. It was partial outage NBN via satellite. But I failed to take action for 16 hours because it appeared to be working.

@decryption Every time I see things like this I go an have a quiet cry about my 32/8 FTTN service. It's another case of @NBN_Australia giving more to the haves, while completely ignoring the have-nots.

As you know the Internet can be subject to partial connectivity problems nbn, like with satellite connections, & you would think that any user that saw connection mode would waste a lot of time trying to resume proper connectivity if their email system gave them that response.

@MRowlandMP There'd be huge benefit if NBN staff talked to each other (4 visits to identify problem already fixed) untold txt msgs to arrange, confirm & advise attendance at appointments, then turn up early/late, numerous follow up texts & calls to assess satisfaction! & time off work for me

@decryption @NBN_Australia It's an utter joke. They are not now, nor have they ever, focussed on those areas with bad connections. They focus on those areas with deep pockets to maximise ARPU.

@juliahbanks @TurnbullMalcolm He can sure talk. But I’m waiting for him to pontificate on The NBN and Snowy Hydro. I suspect his summation, if any, will be as bad as those two things he oversaw.

@NBN_Australia your site says there are no issues, and yet I haven't had internet at Rye (3941) since 12:30. At one stage there was a message saying there was a fibre optic cut affecting Mount Eliza, but that notification is gone from your site, and yet still no internet.
