@Richard33878882 @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia It’ll be the NBN network termination device (NTD) that has failed, not his modem/router. There are a variety of these are used on FTTP, FTTC, HFC and fixed wireless installs. NBNCo operates these units inside your property, and only they can service/replace them.

@NBN_Australia Assume you mean the outdoor box underneath the tiles/ tin in the ceiling cavity? If so, you have changed the signal strength and interference the unit will receive from the wireless tower. If you mean the inside box, it means the tech has to move into an unsafe space to adjust it

@FinancialReview Hard to believe any board people from previous years are still there. After the Holgate disgrace all of the board should have redigned. The NBN has been superesded by Starlink which has no blackspots and is far quicker up and down. Shut the NBN down.

@troyhunt @home_assistant @Aussie_BB You'll probably need to turn on smart queues on your UDM Pro (I think I recall you have one of these). Otherwise the NBN policer will throw a fit on uploads and you'll get horrible upload results.

@relativelysmll oh my god fr. the internet here is always kinda slow, but i'm pretty sure they have been working on the tower thing supportng my house since nbn got put here. i have never seen it not have the 'scheduled maintaince' thing

@NBN_Australia Our service is rubbish still, again as usual , had tech out this week and yes can you believe it NBN playing up again, not in the house or equipment but somewhere out there. Starlink is looking real good. Yes angry and frustrated with NBN

@AlboMP Please explain how the ceos of nbn and Australia post got their pay rises when they both offer a useless service. Know I know why austpost put up the prices of postage. This stinks of ahmed fahour all over again. No cash splash in the budget, will you be taking your salary rise?
