We need to invest in huge nation-building projects; a national grid to support renewables, divestment in fossil-fuel base load, a renewed NBN with speed guarantees and equal access for every Australian, a high-speed rail network to connect Australia’s major centres.

@Richard33878882 @craigreucassel @NBN_Australia It’ll be the NBN network termination device (NTD) that has failed, not his modem/router. There are a variety of these are used on FTTP, FTTC, HFC and fixed wireless installs. NBNCo operates these units inside your property, and only they can service/replace them.

@TurnbullMalcolm @murpharoo Why does Australia have so many Rhodes Scholars that are as dumb as boxes of rocks? What the actual is green hydrogen? It is a trick with smoke and mirrors to try and overcome basic laws of entropy. This from a man that never got the physics involved in an NBN.

@billbennettnz @arnie03 @david_heath Indeed, I’d include newspapers in that. For sure, because NBN has been such an epic ****-up, it’s caused immense friction. Not least because the wastage is paid for by the taxpayer and we *still don’t have* developed-world levels of broadband service

Media coverage of the #NBN has been very mixed. Apologists flippantly claiming the scheme is a good thing. And diehards (or human beings) pushing the myth on are a problem? 🤔

@raz_ellen @AlboMP Once again you accept no responsibility How does blame shifting help Australia ? Starlink is already providing better download and upload speeds than the NBN at NO cost to the taxpayer

@iiNet so is it your service or the nbn. Every day for the past few weeks the service just drops out. On off on off. Not happy paying his crappy service is going my head in. It also means all the other services I pay for I can’t access because no internet service.

Boomers have the worst views on privatization on earth, every boomer i've known who'se complained about the cost of Rudd's NBN, when i've told them he was going to privatise it upon completing recooping the costs of development, they either disgruntly shut up or flip out over it
