I'm seriously considering jumping ship to a mobile service because my 4G service is often quite a bit faster than my NBN and it won't cost any extra and might even be cheaper. #qanda

@TPG_Telecom @crackerofacoote Hi @TPG_Telecom can you please kindly go pedal your bullshit elsewhere. Companies like yours are part of the problem. Nbn isn’t worth the paper that flyer is printed on, yet you still try force it down everyone’s throat. Instead putting pressure on govt to fix the infrastructure

Well I'm angry. AussieB diagosed a fault on my line (y'know good OLD copper) &arranged for NBN to come this afternoon. A man arrived, took one look at my friendly dog thro the gate and ran. I've rung AussieB but they can't do much. How did we get such 3rd rate service broadband?

Moving my nbn to the new address is becoming a huge headache 😓 good news is, Vodafone flagged my account when I tried to change it in store but forgot my ID. Bad news is the owners of our old place set up their nbn before we had a chance to deal with ours, causing MORE problems.

@SueAshford3 I had the friendliest of dogs and I found that some people are highly prejudiced against them, and for some really ridiculous reasons too. Short guys, cultural/religious issues, or just miserable sods. Also, NBN service is abysmal. Here's hoping for a fast resolution.

Compare the pair: Electricity outage: problem acknowledged in 5 minutes, resolved in 30 minutes. NBN: problem acknowledged only after 60 minutes, still not resolved 10 hours later. Both critical infrastructure but one is run like a taxi company.

@markhumphries Internet access is a basic service nowadays. Nbn access needs to be come as standard in any rental.

  • Amarillo1942237 Amarillo (@Amarillo1942237) reported

@_bin_chicken @markhumphries If you lump the cost of connecting to the existing NBN service onto the property owner, it will be passed on anyway, and the tenant will not have their choice of provider. Often this is bundled with mobiles, etc.

  • OlBuds Lower Middle Bogan (@OlBuds) reported

@jenpryor1 One thing I did was to ditch the NBN router that Optus supplied when we switched to the NBN, it was a Sagemcon router and they're a piece of junk. So that could be part of your problem, if you know anyone fairly tech savvy it's a simple matter to replace it with something better.
