I'm seriously considering jumping ship to a mobile service because my 4G service is often quite a bit faster than my NBN and it won't cost any extra and might even be cheaper. #qanda

@NBN_Australia No internet at our home postcode 2770. No help from ISP, recorded message say can't help at this time :( SIGH

  • darryn darryn™ official VEVO (@darryn) reported

@NBN_Australia A website to notify of internet outages is a fundamentally flawed idea. I have traveled to Cairns, where there is ok 4G, and that site gives no info apart from "there is an outage". Should show the log - when the techs arrived on site, when the parts are expected to arrive etc.

  • apparition100 Apparition100 (@apparition100) reported

@Optus is there any NBN outages tonight for the 3130 area? My Internet has been down for the last 45 minutes. Checked the Optus NBN outages page and nothing showing there.

@iiNet , outage in 3108? Website says ‘no’. Checked modem etc. NBN modem keeps rebooting. Thanks

@TraceySpicer @Telstra No Tracey, Telstras practice is to use an overseas call centre, the call takers have limited english skills. When you move from QLD to NSW and ask them to cancel the NBN until you move back in, and they cut off 2 mobiles and 2 tablets leaving a $12,000 debt as they were on a plan

@27Noddy @mattjcan He could listen on Spotify if his NBN connection wasn't so terrible as a result of LNP **** up there as well.

  • RunThemMemes RunThemMemes👉🏾🤛🏾🚽 . \ (@RunThemMemes) reported

Eternals meh so far Occasional Cut rate NBN buffering issues isn’t helping its cause either

  • TraceyCoulton Tracey Coulton (@TraceyCoulton) reported

@TraceySpicer @Telstra Currently in protracted conversations with @Telstra due to NBN to my house stopped over 5 weeks ago. They’ve sent me 4 modems that don’t work and they can’t fix nbn because it is already connected.

  • the_LoungeFly Arioch - Umbra (@the_LoungeFly) reported

@acmadotgov The math: A $60/month plan for 12Mbps is the cause of slow internet. $70/ month for 24Mbps. $90/month for 50(45)Mbps. All tapered by the NBN backbone. No mention of upload speed because it’s useless.
