  • GeorgeNewhouse Prof George Newhouse (@GeorgeNewhouse) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@michellegrattan I have had two appointments where @NBN_Australia never turned up. They are hopeless and rude. They Never call to reschedule and they never apologise.

  • LJPatton The Lucky General (@LJPatton) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@PeterCastieau @mrjoeaston @chriskkenny @MrKRudd @TurnbullMalcolm Yet, the #NBN remains the most important piece of national infrastructure, which is why we need a bipartisan plan to fix the bloody thing ASAP. #BetterBroadband

  • Strehlowwendy Wendy Strehlow (@Strehlowwendy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia No Bianca I am with Telstra but I do feel like I’m being bullied into switching to NBN as none of the NBN customers in our street our affected. Really poor form NBN

@margokingston1 @tagwacheOz Part of the way to fix it & move forward, hope it's $20bn writedown, we are sure going to need it, to fix LNP's destruction of the NBN

@n2coza @iiNet Please help. After 13 loyal years I am having the worst customer experience ever. Beyond belief. Despite 22 calls this week, hours on the phone (2hr wait) and failed call backs still no NBN. Been going since December. Help! Invoice 107697267

  • SensibleUnderp1 Sensible Underpants (@SensibleUnderp1) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

It's on track to deliver NBN over copper. A totally substandard solution that will have enormous implications for the digital economy. Another LNP ***********.

  • MartinAnne139 Annie Martin AM (@MartinAnne139) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Floatdownriver My elderly neighbor had a dreadful experience with being forced into having the NBN to keep her landline. Pretty useless when there is an outage and she has no access for 2 weeks. As a matter of safety she now has a mobile.

  • radicalseven2 Rebecca Davies AO (@radicalseven2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Good discussion on @ABCthedrum @MingYLong about @NBN_Australia . Initial installation at my place in December 18, but signal no good, so they come back week after next. Not confident and costing more....

  • LJPatton The Lucky General (@LJPatton) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@phil4change @R_Chirgwin @Pollytics If they ever do sell the #NBN we will create a massive “digital divide”. A non-government owner would cherry pick profitable areas and ignore the rest. People in the bush would be more buggered than they are now. We only had a universal telephone service because the PMG built it!

  • JennaPrice Jenna Price (@JennaPrice) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

I have just shouted at a scammer on the phone. It was a variation of the "I am Nicole from NBN". This time the person was pretending to be Telstra. That was my fourth call today from them. Please send help @Scamwatch_gov - I am losing my mind.

  • murdochsj Scott Murdoch (@murdochsj) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus @australia2 Good luck mate. Seriously the worst customer service company in Australia esp issues around nbn

  • DigitalMediaBoy Carrington Brigham (@DigitalMediaBoy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Don’t go with @Optus for NBN it takes them 30+ days just to relocate you in the same building. Isn’t that awesome service. Think it’s a case of them being too big too care about their consumers these days.

  • Singh02017 Anil Singh (@Singh02017) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Have received 2 calls today on my landline. An automated message saying, call is from National Broadband Network & to press 1 to talk to a technician or Internet will be disconnected! The number to call (03)7689-4456. Assume it is a scam! @NBN_Australia @charlietech @nswpolice

  • buszwack jg (@buszwack) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@TurnbullMalcolm @JulieBishopMP can’t read your message my nbn is sooo slow

  • lyng62 Lyn (@lyng62) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Toddy2102 @Optus @NBN_Australia Thats Correct. I rang Optus while the tech was still here and said - do not switch anything over until we discuss the issue of the NBN modem and router being DOWNSTAIRS now when my cable connection comes straight into my office which is UPSTAIRS.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra Every time I check, it blames the NBN. They are in active build in my area at present (lots of trucks with spools of green cable on them), so I do believe it - it is just incredibly frustrating to have the service so unreliable. It has effectively stopped me working from home.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra And down again just now. Outage page blames nbn again...

  • Strehlowwendy Wendy Strehlow (@Strehlowwendy) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Still an outage in Bondi . Apparently now it is an NBN problem . Not maintenance. Telstra make up your mind and please communicate with your call centre in the Phillipines. It is not fair to them . A more accurate outcome timevwould be helpful too....

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • SuperMario343 MrTron (@SuperMario343) reported

I get 40/16Mbps on FTTN, Telcos have said that's the maximum speed i'll get on my copper line even if I went to a 100/20Mbps plan. It's too slow and no longer suitable for my needs. This is why I pre-ordered Starlink. @NBN_Australia

  • NativeMLT Spamboiii | Abixajjj (@NativeMLT) reported

@GearSeekers What NBN Plans do you use for your home/office use? As one of the many things letting me down to move to AUS are the very poor speeds :(

  • kaileyhk Karen Chan (@kaileyhk) reported

@Internode Why does @TPG_Telecom keep telling me you haven’t disconnected the service to my address and that’s the reason they can’t order my NBN box???? You both keep blaming each other and the customer suffers

  • janehhodgkinson Dr Jane Hodgkinson (@janehhodgkinson) reported

@NBN_Australia @Optus Internet been perfect for so long. Two drop outs today in Ferny Hills Qld. Any known issues or just us? Thanks

  • MajorSardonic Major 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Sardonic (@MajorSardonic) reported

Nice effort @DodoInternet - workmate spent 2 hours + on the phone to solve a problem only to get fobbed off with a “I’ll make a note - what do you think the management are going to do”. I think I’ll stick with another NBN provider. #Crapservice

  • eccentric_juan Villainous One (Juan Villain) (@eccentric_juan) reported

seriously have lost count how many times the NBN has been down... it may as well be called: #NoBloodyNetwork #NBN #AussieWoes

  • APrez10 Aaron Preston (@APrez10) reported

@BelongAU I have been attempting to contact Belong for 10 weeks through all manner of avenues with no response as my NBN service is continually not working could you please provide a phone number I can call to actually get onto someone tomorrow morning. Thank you.

  • marortoll The Buried Lead - Ramon Ortoll (@marortoll) reported

FVR brought her to power. Think of how support was given to Bangsamoro autonomy to the point that they could negotiate treaties on their own. The Americans wanted bases in Mindanao which was why USAID poured in "development funds." We all know what happened during the NBN-ZTE

  • alexbayleaf Alex Bayley (@alexbayleaf) reported

Extremely sad that I’m likely going to lose many of these things with my current housing situation. I moved into this house for a reason and I’ve loved it for 7 years (lack of insulation and occasional falling-down bits aside). Perfect lifestyle… old-style country home with NBN

  • DeanRosario Dean Rosario (@DeanRosario) reported

@topicalstorm @OptusSport @ALeague As an OptusSport customer, there would be a significant revenue increase from me to Optus if they had ALeague. Without ALeague, I spend $125-150/yr with Optus [$15/mth x 9-10mths] With ALeague, I will spend $500-1000/yr with Optus by bundling my mobile or NBN
