@AlsPatch @LesStonehouse @Optus All NBN/digital/analogue broadcasting in AU needs to be a part of a Royal Commission to stop media monopolies of our broadcast commons for commercial, non commercial and emergency platforms. AU simply cannot sustain US models with current population & geography, infrastructures

NBN fixed and now very fast. But usual terrible shambles - multiple techs, none of whom left proper notes. The fix seems to have been made before a (probably unnecessary) third visit by a very nice tech who said he had to document carefully to make sure he gets paid.

I probably know why - NBN profit margin is tiny due to stupid NBN wholesale prices. They own the 5G infrastructure so much fatter margins. I would be tempted, to be honest, but CGNAT (means I cannot run a server) and the risk of variable quality means a big fat no thanks /endrant

@vintagelace Thanks for your time on the phone with one of the engineers. The fault was identified to be within NBN Co's network, a tech from NBN is now being organised to attend. Details will be sent via SMS once booking is confirmed. -Charm

@Asher_Wolf My kidlets routinely and loudly blame Malcolm Turnbull for their Minecraft-related internet problems. I got tired of them complaining to me about it and explained that I wasn’t the one who borked the NBN nor did I vote for those that did.

Entering #bnestorm mode. Blinds down and unplug power and NBN from the IT stuff.

@Nikkijryan82 Hey Nikki, our PS5 deal is for existing Vodafone customers who have a Home Internet or nbn service +1 eligible mobile phone plan. Due to production shortages, we won't be able to take on any new orders until further notice. We're working to update this in-store and online.
