I worked at Dept of Comms when NBN policy was devised. It was always going to be a disaster and people have totally misunderstood the reasons why...and now we are repeating the same problems in energy sector. Any market that Gov meddles in gets ruined (housing, energy, telco)🧵..

  • Arnavasd Daniel Arnavas (@Arnavasd) reported

@NBALPSupport help! Why does the stream always skip and pause every 4-5seconds when casting to my tv using chromecast. Then when I turn it off casting and watch on phone it’s fine. I have an NBN connection with speeds of over 100mbps and no delay for any other streaming apps!

  • MaryGee5660 Mary the almost unstoppable (@MaryGee5660) reported

@riktheozfrog He flew in, ostensibly to inspect the flooding, but in reality, to spruik the NBN and the marinus link. He's as helpful as ... actually he's no help at all

@MrKRudd NBN fuckn sucks, biggest waste of money in Australian history, apart from all the ongoing royalties we pay you clowns after you retire 🖕

  • BCoppick Brenton Coppick (@BCoppick) reported

@Foilalan_ @MrKRudd @NBN_Australia Bull . The huge amount of work required to cutover had its problems but a lot worked. Put it this way analogy -a mechanic only sees car problems , he doesnt see cars working well

  • HannanCathie Cathie Hannan (@HannanCathie) reported

@redruby17 @Optus I’m with Vodaphone for phone and nbn. The only problem with Vodaphone is coverage. I’ll have to go with a Telstra type to get coverage in northern Oz, WA etc

  • Fanatic4futball Skarezo Snr (@Fanatic4futball) reported

@NBN_Australia Thanks for the reply, I have no issue with my ISP, it's the NBN who have zero requirement to send an emergency crew out when they stuff up. When we had Telecom -> Telstra, they had to resolve an issue like this in 24hrs, now it's wait 1-2 weeks. Not good enough. I will DM details

@catheri88963637 @AlboMP It's a backward step for Australia, period. NBN = No Bloody Network.
