  • LesleyDewarAU Lesley (Has Dragons at Home) Dewar (@LesleyDewarAU) reported from Busselton, State of Western Australia

@Telstra 3 / lost my password for my email account so I can't add it to Outlook 4 the Telstra 24/7 app (since updated) tells me there is a problem with my internet connection to the NBN through the modem. Sent me a complaint number which I screen shot. 5. Troubleshooting /

  • LesleyDewarAU Lesley Dewar Wealthy Woman (@LesleyDewarAU) reported from Busselton, State of Western Australia

@Telstra just had a look It was 25gb of bonus data. Oops. But I still have 60gb to go. I used heaps in February because I forgot to switch my Bluetooth off, and use the NBN. For about 10 days. Bad Lesley 👎 👃

  • mattjdooley Matt Dooley (@mattjdooley) reported

@nightkhaos @hexsteph @NBN_Australia They are the only ones who can install the cable. I changed to TPG straight away once it was installed. The issue wasn’t with starting the service, it was the installation.

  • RaptortillaW wRaptortilla (@RaptortillaW) reported

@LeonRyan @hexsteph @NBN_Australia They’ll deliver eventually. It sucks but they know they have no competition. If you need the service you will pay and wait, they have the power in this situation. ACCC would be your best bet but that’ll take longer than 6 weeks

  • Munnday David (@Munnday) reported

@hexsteph @NBN_Australia As a few people have mentioned... Put something in writing to your local MP. As it's a government company, they are obligated to look into it. Next make a complaint to the TIO for them to investigate

  • LeonRyan Leon Ryan (@LeonRyan) reported

@RaptortillaW @hexsteph @NBN_Australia why give them a cent until they can reliably do what you're paying for? Bad press should incentivize them to get their **** together so people are actually motivated to use them.

  • AaronCheater Aaron Cheater (@AaronCheater) reported

@hexsteph @NBN_Australia And now NBN Co are offering free FTTP installs to anyone who will pay for a high speed (250+) connection. Bad luck for all those people like you that already paid thousands to get FTTP installed. Hope they can give you a refund!

  • drmiketodorovic Dr. Mike Todorovic 🧠 (@drmiketodorovic) reported

@hexsteph @NBN_Australia It’s horrible. There is no recourse. Complaints do nothing. You are absolutely right, people’s livelihoods are dependant on this! Kazakhstan and Latvia have faster internet than us!! 😩

  • AaronCheater Aaron Cheater (@AaronCheater) reported

@threezyb @hexsteph @NBN_Australia I feel you. I edit 4K footage from home occasionally on my shitty FTTN connection that gets max 33 down. Almost makes me want to move back into the bad neighbourhood nearby that had FTTP.

  • abhayks Abhay (@abhayks) reported

Dear @NBN_Australia “ We are currently performing planned network maintenance, however no service interruptions are expected to take place. “ However, zero Internet at my home. Yes service is totally interrupted.

  • AllSyntaxErrors Syntax Error (@AllSyntaxErrors) reported

@hexsteph @NBN_Australia Option 2: I presume you've complained about the delay but make sure it's official (complaints people also can work magic). Record interaction number. Then complain your complaint wasn't met to the standards you expect. With THAT # contact ombudsmen who will help.

  • TPG_Telecom TPG (@TPG_Telecom) reported

@butchcoolidgee Hi Butch, it is true that there is an NBN box shortage for HFC customer but this will not affect the address that already has an NBN Box available there. 1/2 -Mel
