So the time I need my stream the most, it’s failing me. @kayosports has been horrible all day, buffering and / or dropping out completely mid games. Gaming is compromised too. Big time. This has been a consistent since I connected to the nbn 6 years ago. Fibre to the node.

@WhistleOut_AU I was so happy with my NBN service I signed up for Starlink as soon as it became available. I live 10minutes (by car) from the Perth cbd and the NBN was ordinary as well as the asdl service before that. Starlink works , NBN & the service before that had to rely on old copper.

@MegJobson1 If you’re in an FTTN NBN zone you can lose Internet with rain, flood, storm, fire… any power outage because nodes need power to operate. Several years ago, a drunk driver took out my suburb’s Internet access for days. Tech said it couldn’t happen with underground fibre. #auspol

@CartoJJ1 @AllanSeymour1 Abbott and Turnbull sabotaged our perfect fibre optic #NBN & turned it into an expensive, complicated, slow, unstable, corroding mess. Doubled or trebled the cost. Powered nodes shut down in storms, floods, fires. I needs to be ripped out & replaced. With fibre. #auspol

@JfkWhitlam True the others in LNP crime family are/were worse than Turnbull. But to suggest that he was a good pm is a bridge too far for me. He too did a lot of damage including deadly Robodebt and NBN sabotage.

@TimGossage Still amazes me that a hundred million dollar industry like the AFL that has millions bet on results down to the single point and has a score review rule has no specialised equipment to allow the reviews to be accurate. Instead the video looks like a pre NBN YouTube video

@Henjam48 A lot of people leave Turnbull out of the **** leadership commentary when looking at the past 9+ years of LNP chaos, waste & dysfunction. However he was instrumental in many of the worst decisions including sabotaging FTTP NBN. I give him no free pass. #auspol $Billions wasted.

Weird, just got a #scam call "from the #NBN " asking if I have flashing lights on my router, then asked me to check my speeds. I think they are looking for people that are having problems as a hook. @NBN_Australia does not call end users or provide end user support. Ever.

@MSMWatchdog2013 Only in Australia do we announce we’re rolling out a national network, then we **** if up with fibre to the node, HFC & the bollocks of fixed wireless and satellite - to now find out that the Aust taxpayer is on hook for $40b. Plus we’re now rebuilding it with FTTP. TI #NBN

@JennaPrice Could we have left the NBN up to private enterprise? Government used to do quite a bit of infrastructure. While I believe government should not be in business, we have had some horrible outcomes of outsourcing to the rest the world to build our govt stuff that hadto be remediated

@markhumphries So my place was connected to NBN. Then they renovated and cut through the connection. Took them EIGHT months to reconnect it and at first they refused to pay the $700. Renting sucks.

@Optus @iheartguitar If you're interested in alternatives @VodafoneAU had been great especially with their 4G backup, so even if NBN goes down the connection still works. Nowadays internet isn't a luxury, it's livelihood and companies need to step up their game to match.

@CTrbovich @Quick_RageEAFC It could help in Australia if your ISP or NBN setup causes packet fragmentation—common with PPPoE connections there, where optimal MTU is often 1492 or lower. Try setting it to 1473 on your PS; if lag doesn't improve, revert to 1500. Results vary by network.

@TopherField I have had fibre to the premises since day one of the NBN and can say it's no issue I use a simulator for competitive racing and have never had more than a 100 ms ping to the USA from Australia and I run the highest possible plan with IINET without issue since it started

@iiNet Hey Team, are there any issues for your NBN services in NSW, more specifically the greater Maitland area? Service has been uncharacteristically patchy this afternoon. Semi regular DNS lookup errors and dropouts. They last for anywhere from 2-10 minutes and then come good.
