@chrisamason @TurnbullMalcolm Actually both models were crap and lacked any vision. It should have been 90% investment into wireless connectivity, then we wouldn't have wasted billions on useless costly infrastructure. My 5G wireless craps all over NBN speeds. The nbn will be a dinosaur in 5yrs. #pentanet

@JennaPrice Could we have left the NBN up to private enterprise? Government used to do quite a bit of infrastructure. While I believe government should not be in business, we have had some horrible outcomes of outsourcing to the rest the world to build our govt stuff that hadto be remediated

@FreoLou @MatthewPassmor8 @FreoPope It's likely that your Internet is delivered over copper (FTTN) or possibly HFC. FTTN - depends how far the premises is from node. Has the problems with poor instalations, pits letting water leak in etc NBN HFC - uses higher frequencies than Telstra = dropouts. TI

@NBN_Australia I have done that three times with, and they have told me it is an NBN problem. And so the merry-go-round continues. Here's a suggestion: just fix the problem and in the meantime, provide free data to those that now need to use VPN to simply get emails.

@TugboatPhil @bayareahausfrau Our i/net hasn't been shut down. NBN is fixed lines to homes, and has outages all over Aus. Plus 4G/5G is unaffected, which is more useful for protestors so why shut down only NBN? Police are clashing w protestors, but we've never had a Ruby Ridge, Waco, or stolen presidency.

Mother ******* NBN. TWICE now I've booked an appointment for 8 ******* am only to have them cancel WITHOUT TELLING ME. Because they can get a connection on their end. My connection issue only occurs when it ******* RAINS WHICH MY ISP HAS TOLD YOU BOTH TIMES.

@Telstra I'm really fed up at this point. Once this issue is resolved I will be changing my internet provider, because I have had next to no help. And the speed at which you help your customers is non existent. Never had this much trouble before the NBN. But now it's hell.
