@markhumphries So my place was connected to NBN. Then they renovated and cut through the connection. Took them EIGHT months to reconnect it and at first they refused to pay the $700. Renting sucks.

@MSMWatchdog2013 Only in Australia do we announce we’re rolling out a national network, then we **** if up with fibre to the node, HFC & the bollocks of fixed wireless and satellite - to now find out that the Aust taxpayer is on hook for $40b. Plus we’re now rebuilding it with FTTP. TI #NBN

@KatherineDeves_ Albo is facade of feel good **** about complex problems like Gillards with her NDIS and Rudd with his NBN. Sounds good at the time but let the next person clean up the mess and try to make it work. In the meantime they are the heroes.

@JfkWhitlam True the others in LNP crime family are/were worse than Turnbull. But to suggest that he was a good pm is a bridge too far for me. He too did a lot of damage including deadly Robodebt and NBN sabotage.

Weird, just got a #scam call "from the #NBN " asking if I have flashing lights on my router, then asked me to check my speeds. I think they are looking for people that are having problems as a hook. @NBN_Australia does not call end users or provide end user support. Ever.

@WillWillAFR Most of the rest of the world is ahead of us. Pulling up LNP IPA unstable powered nodes & installing fibre to the premise as Labor was doing before Murdoch LNP IPA destroyed it, is costing us TENS OF BILLIONS more. I’m surprised how little media attention this gets. #Patchy #NBN

@MegJobson1 If you’re in an FTTN NBN zone you can lose Internet with rain, flood, storm, fire… any power outage because nodes need power to operate. Several years ago, a drunk driver took out my suburb’s Internet access for days. Tech said it couldn’t happen with underground fibre. #auspol

@Optus @iheartguitar If you're interested in alternatives @VodafoneAU had been great especially with their 4G backup, so even if NBN goes down the connection still works. Nowadays internet isn't a luxury, it's livelihood and companies need to step up their game to match.

@Telstra @NBN_Australia 18 months of consistently poor service & I finally lodge a complaint w the TIO. Within a couple of hrs Telstra emails how suddenly important it is to ‘resolve my issue’…arrange a callback in 2hrs…guess who doesn’t call?? Absolute Dogshit…

@WhistleOut_AU I was so happy with my NBN service I signed up for Starlink as soon as it became available. I live 10minutes (by car) from the Perth cbd and the NBN was ordinary as well as the asdl service before that. Starlink works , NBN & the service before that had to rely on old copper.

@NBN_Australia What does NBN say about frame delays on GPON fibre best effort service which is not suitable for any time sensitive apps AND online gaming? All traffic is best effort and prone to congestion. NBN doesn't differentiate gaming traffic. Frame delays due to poor upload provisioning.

We have also installed 11 generators to maintain service continuity at six nbn Fixed Wireless infrastructure sites, and we are preparing to deploy an additional 14 generators to seven other nbn Fixed Wireless infrastructure sites to maintain service continuity.

@NBN_Australia Status only says "unplanned outage, we are investigating". Doesn't provide any information at all. Service provider tells me "issue is with nbn, cannot provide any further information". I do not have a medical alarm system.

Could @NBN_Australia validate that the technology FTTP/C/N etc doesn't matter when it comes to frame delay nor does it matter what speed tier you have 12/1 or 1000/50. As a residential customer you are at the mercy of how many people share GPON fibre with you with frame delay.
