@actualfredsmith @deemadigan It is Telstra's fault. Telstra forced me off stable Broadband on to the NBN with it's unreliable service. I hate the NBN.

@Optus I took out a month to month nbn service including a mighty fetch box with multi room mini box and the ultimate channel pack for $104 per month 8 weeks ago. Since then I have had numerous problems getting this service up and running. I have called your technical team many times.

@NewtonMark Wireless NBN is a shared media with contention detection. All the issues of a non switched ethernet plus all the issues of wireless.

@NewtonMark I'd wager that the Telstra Gen 2 smart modem is probably the direct cause of network congestion. Nice touch though to hide NBN disconnections with a fallover to 4G

@iiNet Yes and your follow up team told me it was an issue with the router despite it clearly being an issue with the NBN box and I was once again forced to spend 20 minutes going through tests that were already done last night. So you've successfully wasted both my time and your own.

It means putting money in peoples' pockets so they can support Oz biz by buying stuff from them. All this talk about investing in infrastructure is all very well but if that means washing it down the drain as in the nbn scam or giving it away to Rupie... NO.

Had a very weird experience today. My internet went down just before a meeting so had no time to call anyone to fix. Then 20 mins later two NBN trucks with flashing lights rocked up and fixed it. Do we have internet ambulances now?

My @NBN_Australia is down. The retailer says its an outage ie not their fault and can’t say when it will be back up. But that’s OK because NBN’s website and Twitter feed has all the information. Actually, that’s not true. There is no information. #notgoodenough

@__Rounders__ @mattrfrancis Done that as well. When the Foxtel/NBN bloke came last time he told me I never needed to worry about the aerial socket again. And the aerial cable they provided isn't compatible with the Foxtel box.

It’s really a first world problem - sort of - but I should be able to watch a TV show on my TV without it having to buffer and load, while being at 360p every 2.5 minutes. The government’s rollout - both of them mind you - of the NBN is the greatest failure of the 21st Century

@NBN_Australia Made for more of my time talking to my telco about dropouts, more conversations about how FTTN is crap, more telcos ripping people off for services they can't provide. I assume the conditions are you can't have what you want, when you want it or need it most.
