NBN Issues Reports Near Kwinana, State of Western Australia

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Kwinana and nearby locations:

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@aus_business @SupratimA The wholesale charges for @NBN_Australia are amongst some of the most expensive in the OECD. It wouldn't be so bad if the network was 100% FTTP. @Telstra made 65% profit margin on retail PSTN & ADSL. On NBN the margin is less than 25%. TI #nbn

  • MattyO_70 Matt O'Neill (@MattyO_70) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@NBN_Australia We are in a new estate only about 10 years old with all new infrastructure put in at build, under 10kms from CBD. Doubtful that is the problem

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@MeckeringBoy @TelstraAU Sounds like FTTC (fibre to the curb). Your copper run should be no more than 120m from the premises. You're looking for the pit on the footpath out the front or across the street. When you run your address on the NBN website it'll tell down bottom RHS. TI

  • HelenErrington1 Helen Errington (@HelenErrington1) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@AndrewLamingMP What utter bullshit you liar. Turnbull ruined it. Who are you trying to kid. God I can't wait until you are all in oblivion. It won't be long. We had a rolled gold NBN and the rwnj's turned it in to a god awful mess.

  • 2017Ferret The Weather Ferret (@2017Ferret) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Please note everyone the NBN is down. So no internet. Will sort it out this morning. Tweeted this message from my phone.

  • yGrael Gav (@yGrael) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@MichaelPascoe01 Indeed, having the term "service delivery" and NBN connected as 1 context just does not work. Pun intended

  • cjdaly87 Dales (@cjdaly87) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Optus @NBN_Australia Day #14 of the NBN service being down. NBN technician visits have been had, concrete has been cut up - still no closer to knowing when my service will be working again! #incompetent #customerservice

  • TrishKurralinga Patricia Rutherford (@TrishKurralinga) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@davrosz Did anyobe hear that moron #Fifield on @QandA on Monday. Does. Not. Have. A. Clue! Seems to think it is only a handful of people who have NBN problems. Obviously not a twitter user. #Turnbull & @TonyAbbottMHR this is on you, you fools! Negative, know all (& knows nothing) fools!

  • TrishKurralinga Patricia Rutherford (@TrishKurralinga) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@MeckeringBoy One of #Abbott #Turnbull's monumental stuff-ups. They should be personally held liable for #NBN disaster. Any #Telstra technician could have told them (& probably did) a lot of the copper was stuffed & no-one to fix it. #Lnp wreckers. #FibreToNodeFraud @TaodeHaas @billshortenmp

  • alanmackenzie76 Alan Mackenzie (@alanmackenzie76) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

Node gets taken out buy car late Saturday. No outage listed. No respect for those affected @NBN_Australia @Internode

  • aaron_platten Aaron Platten (@aaron_platten) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

NBN told Telstra it was their problem to fix. Now having same problem with Optus.

  • cory_gale Cory Gale 🦘🇦🇺 (@cory_gale) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Retrogina I use OVO for my internet and it’s great. $65 a month for 100GB. They use Optus. Can cancel it at any time... which I will do when NBN becomes available in May 😊

  • FrChrisBedding Father Chris (@FrChrisBedding) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

The fifth day with no internet access, and still trying to convince your staff that the church which has been here since 1925 is not at the address on the account and never has been, that we have neither modem nor NBN and that we really need internet access to do our basic admin

  • tonytau101 Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@michellegrattan @1RossGittins Yep contact your service provider & book a migration to the NBN. Then tell them in the meantime you want your existing services restored under the USO. Hope this helps. TI #NBN

  • TechManPat TechManPat (@TechManPat) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

    Mass NBN outage in #australia #nbnco #nbn

  • _Just ᴊᴜѕᴛɪɴ (@_Just) reported from Perth, State of Western Australia

@reece_wagner I’m getting 16 down with ADSL. @NBN_Australia was due here in Feb. It was changed to August 2020. Now back to May 2019.

  • PerthCitizen Coach C 🏀 (@PerthCitizen) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

    @AussieBallin @Ronnie2K @Beluba @NBA2K @NBA2K_MyTEAM If you are with @optus nbn - the problem is them not @NBA2K

  • TrishKurralinga Patricia Rutherford (@TrishKurralinga) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@ChrisOgilvieSnr Oh buggar me dead! Like we didn't know the old Telstra copper was making the #NBN slow!! #FTTN! @MeckeringBoy

  • MGoldschlager Michael Goldschlager (@MGoldschlager) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@BenWoodSay Yep. The Twitter poll is just a fun exercise, but it does give people hope. I think it's time for a different government. The fact that I don't even have the #NBN is just one example of why I couldn't reward the current mob for their ineptitude. +100 other issues.

  • katie62750987 katie (@katie62750987) reported from Westfield, State of Western Australia

@Optus I opened a month to month nbn account with you 8 weeks ago. It included a mighty fetch box account with a multi room mini box and the ultimate channel pack. I have had numerous problems since opening this account. The first problem was the multi room didn’t have the ultimate pack

  • McBainAUS McBain (@McBainAUS) reported

@NBN_Australia wondering why there is an NBN outage in Clontarf Qld right now? Same happened around 5 weeks ago.

  • probinson_27 paul (@probinson_27) reported

@NBN_Australia for over a month our entire street (approx 30 families) are having multiple outages per day. Lots of us work from home Speeds are degraded. Our providers are very responsive and have told us it's NBN. Many NBN techs have been out, no improvement. Please help!

  • patrioticcrow Patriotic Crow✝️ 🇦🇺 (@patrioticcrow) reported

@SouFloCon Rudd is a 2/7 increased migration to a ridiculous amount, didn't do **** about China, and his economic plan was poor. Gillard is a 2/7 again, same as above. Turnbull is a 2/7, decent NBN policy, passed SSM but butchered his FP and the Darwin Port.

  • rimkus_daniel Daniel Rimkus (@rimkus_daniel) reported

@NBN_Australia I would think the issue has something to do with the nbn contractors who have been working in the nbn pits for the last few weeks. I'm moving forward with the assumption that the pit wasn't properly sealed again, water and copper don't mix well.

  • s_anag8 Sangas? (@s_anag8) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@NBN_Australia Everything. Have contacted our provider. They say it’s an NBN issue. Unfortunately, we have to wait for a technician till Monday. Hoping somehow that it could be sooner rather then later?

  • n_c_oz Nic A (@n_c_oz) reported

@NBN_Australia @jojo1171952 Just be honest with what the issue is and what is being done to resolve it. It’s now Friday, my service provider lady who’s been very helpful (thanks @TPG_Telecom ) says it’s likely you won’t be working on the weekend

  • Boganville1 Boganville (@Boganville1) reported

@Paul_Karp I'll never forgive them for what they did to NBN. Hamstringing vital infrastructure in the information technology age, 4 a mouldering old newspaper man, in a failed attempt to maintain his marketing revenues that are slipping through his fingers like grains of sand inevitably.

  • TDlisle Tyrone Dlisle (@TDlisle) reported

@NBN_Australia It's just very slow. Despite a high download speed >90Mbps, the latency is also high, which makes the delay when loading multiple online based activities challenging.

  • mpearce_perth Mark Pearce (@mpearce_perth) reported

@Optus That’s correct. I don’t use one. I use @Optus and @NBN_Australia It’s a regular f-up between your networks. By regular, I mean daily. It’s ok. I’ve found a VPN and 3rd party website. Not a bad game, is it?
