@FreoLou @MatthewPassmor8 @FreoPope It's likely that your Internet is delivered over copper (FTTN) or possibly HFC. FTTN - depends how far the premises is from node. Has the problems with poor instalations, pits letting water leak in etc NBN HFC - uses higher frequencies than Telstra = dropouts. TI

It should have been 90% investment into wireless connectivity, then we wouldn't have wasted billions on useless costly infrastructure. My 5G wireless craps all over NBN speeds. @JennaPrice Could we have left the NBN up to private enterprise? Government used to do quite a bit of infrastructure. While I believe government should not be in business, we have had some horrible outcomes of outsourcing to the rest the world to build our govt stuff that hadto be remediated

@_Just Mine have never had anyone say anything. One I got last week on my work phone was automated claiming to be NBN cutting off a landline I don’t have.

Just received what appears to be a #scam call claiming my @NBN_Australia is about to be disconnected because of a #cybersecurity issue. Call starts as pre-recorded then transfers to a real person. They hung up after I asked questions @acccgovau @ACCAN_AU Anyone else have this?

Anyone had any experience with 5G home internet? Just bought a new phone plan and this is the standard upsell. But if I'm honest, it's not much more $ than I'm paying for NBN and the value/service seems pretty reasonable to marginally better.
