Since then I have had numerous problems getting this service up and running. I have called your technical team many times.

Finally I had to fix the problem after getting no help from Telstra after countless hours spent on numerous call to their overseas helpline!

The only thing that will fix it is either, replace the rest of the copper line or a technology upgrade to FTTP. $11k is a bit steep, if ever it gets more reasonable that will be the path I take. Getting the 40 meters of copper replaced involved an MP.
