Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Kwinana and nearby locations:

  • webprofusion
Christopher Cook (@webprofusion) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@JakeGinnivan @NBN_Australia Vodafone NBN is quite good - it has 4G backup that comes on automatically (so then it's their problem and not really yours). Costs the same as other NBN packages.

  • MeckeringBoy
🇺🇦🌿Mike Dowling- Climate Action NOW! (@MeckeringBoy) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@JfkWhitlam True the others in LNP crime family are/were worse than Turnbull. But to suggest that he was a good pm is a bridge too far for me. He too did a lot of damage including deadly Robodebt and NBN sabotage.

  • cjdaly87
Dales (@cjdaly87) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@Optus @NBN_Australia Day #14 of the NBN service being down. NBN technician visits have been had, concrete has been cut up - still no closer to knowing when my service will be working again! #incompetent #customerservice

  • tappo66
bradT (@tappo66) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@Telstra @NBN_Australia had enough putting complaint thru to Ombudsman…

  • MeckeringBoy
💧Michael Dowling-Demand renewable covid recovery! (@MeckeringBoy) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

Dentist is 2km away from my home & the line is 💩. Shocking that our telecommunications have been so badly compromised by this LNP IPA Fail. How is it that treasonous sabotage by LNP goes unremarked by most in media? They destroyed our world class fibre network! #auspol #nbn

  • HelenErrington1
Helen Errington (@HelenErrington1) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@AndrewLamingMP What utter bullshit you liar. Turnbull ruined it. Who are you trying to kid. God I can't wait until you are all in oblivion. It won't be long. We had a rolled gold NBN and the rwnj's turned it in to a god awful mess.

  • Ithika
Meegs (@Ithika) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@DaveMilbo Horrible. I try not to think about the could have beens but the NBN makes that hard They're installing fibre in my street and I'm like 😬 perhaps I will have internet better than the extremely cheap London hostel I stayed in in 09 now, maybe

  • WazT555
Wazza (@WazT555) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

Fkn lol! They’re going to “upgrade” the fail nbn & make it more like what it shoulda been originally! Like if we had Labour in govt... Maybe, we’ll actually get decent internet?! Not going to hold mah breath though.

  • 1dieseldon
💧Don Smith (@1dieseldon) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

So poor quality NBN complemented by inferior modems great 🙄 what chance for a decent functional service

  • annsippe
Ann Sippe (@annsippe) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@gabriellechan @mpbowers The resistance to Labor confounds me. The vitriol Tony Windsor suffered because he sided with Labor was ridiculous in the extreme. NBN, school funding and climate change were issues deeply affecting the rural sector.

  • katie62750987
katie (@katie62750987) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@Optus I opened a month to month nbn account with you 8 weeks ago. It included a mighty fetch box account with a multi room mini box and the ultimate channel pack. I have had numerous problems since opening this account. The first problem was the multi room didn’t have the ultimate pack

  • tonytau101
Tony Ilian (@tonytau101) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@MSMWatchdog2013 Only in Australia do we announce we’re rolling out a national network, then we **** if up with fibre to the node, HFC & the bollocks of fixed wireless and satellite - to now find out that the Aust taxpayer is on hook for $40b. Plus we’re now rebuilding it with FTTP. TI #NBN

  • sand_shifter
Fat Ham (@sand_shifter) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@ringsau I hope it’s not as slow as the NBN rollout

  • charlessultana
Charles Sultana (@charlessultana) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@bcurrall80 I know @Telstra gets a bad rap, but I recently jumped from iiNet. Same plan but for extra $10/month get a 4G SIM modem incase NBN goes down. Handy for alarm/cameras etc

  • MeckeringBoy
Michael Dowling #ICACisComing Labor Wins! (@MeckeringBoy) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@Henjam48 A lot of people leave Turnbull out of the **** leadership commentary when looking at the past 9+ years of LNP chaos, waste & dysfunction. However he was instrumental in many of the worst decisions including sabotaging FTTP NBN. I give him no free pass. #auspol $Billions wasted.

  • anewdemocracy
Make Our Voice Heard (@anewdemocracy) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@Rob7Scott @JennaPrice @7NewsAustralia If only we had a world class NBN to support it properly…

  • neil_daws
Neil Daws ⚒🗿🇦🇺⚓🏛☠ (@neil_daws) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@JennaPrice Could we have left the NBN up to private enterprise? Government used to do quite a bit of infrastructure. While I believe government should not be in business, we have had some horrible outcomes of outsourcing to the rest the world to build our govt stuff that hadto be remediated

  • tomsapperz
Thomas Sapienza (@tomsapperz) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@DaithiDeNogla The worst is the Australian NBN, hands down.

  • BigV2011WCE
Victor Yong (@BigV2011WCE) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

@GrayConnolly Tech came yesterday morning (AWST) to fix up our NBN. Said there was wiring problems in the pits outside my premises. All good now, hopefully

  • dantheinternut
Dan van der Meer (@dantheinternut) reported from Westfield, Western Australia

So the time I need my stream the most, it’s failing me. @kayosports has been horrible all day, buffering and / or dropping out completely mid games. Gaming is compromised too. Big time. This has been a consistent since I connected to the nbn 6 years ago. Fibre to the node.

  • matildaismine
    Jess 🤍💚 (@matildaismine) reported

@1RogerWoodward @RoguestGypsy @Telstra Dude it's not wide spread for nbn... it's telstras mobile service... only very few are having issues with nbn

  • mickr62
    Michael Ryan (@mickr62) reported

@optus_help hi. I have had an issue with your sales chat team putting me on the wrong NBN plan

  • FlyingDropBear
FlyingDropBear - Twatter - full of bots. (@FlyingDropBear) reported

@5BNylonTip Kind of like the Coalition govt pumping FTTN tech for the NBN where we'd need Air Conditioned cabinets in the street to cool the active network gear, instead of just installing passive(ish) Fibre Optics. AU is not super intelligent when it comes to tech, from a govt perspective.

  • the_vocal_one
    The Opinionated Veteran (@the_vocal_one) reported

@CovfefeDnUnder @ianclarkeAU All network types have limits on the bandwidth (speed available to users), even wired ones... It's just that for fixed networks like the NBN, those limits are much, MUCH higher.

  • therealjme5h
    Jmaes (@therealjme5h) reported

@NBN_Australia St Clair 2759, when is service due to be online??

  • gaymilkisgay
    DerKrampus (@gaymilkisgay) reported

@ianclarkeAU NBN is not a cellular network - I think your statement is illogical.

  • Erick0341
    Erick (@Erick0341) reported

    @KathleenWinche3 NBN, **** happens when you’re stupid.

  • Natho369
    Nathan 1974 (@Natho369) reported

@VoteLewko @Starlink I have a fixed and a mobile Starlink and neither have let me down, the NBN & our mobile phone network on the other hand is the opposite.

  • bigRD73
    Shane (@bigRD73) reported

@blowingtom2 @SenSHenderson It would be as bad as NBN co if they didn't.

  • mich___l
    Michael🧙 (@mich___l) reported

@sofewcharacters @VoteLewko @2GB873 Yes it is, but Starlink is terrible in cities, built up areas, and areas with lots of tree cover. It degrades pretty significantly in bad weather. It would also be terrible with a cities worth of people connected..... network congestion is a problem for satelite solutions (similar to the mobile network). Getting rid of the nbn network would be a monumentally bad idea.
