🌸 Rita Gee ♥ 🇦🇺 (@Riogallica) reported@NBN_Australia is a joke. For the 2nd time in 2 wks my connection is down - their fault. They can't come out to fix it till next Monday! If I can find a reputable @STARLINK installer in my regional area, I'd be thankful (Jervis Bay NSW). I'm past climbing on roofs these days. Any recommentations? My @telstra hot spotting is the pits.

anthony, underclass prole cat, edwards (@anthony45052793) reported@MichaelRuyg i had to get starlink service for power outages to maintain some ability to contact emergency services if needed. i have backup power. mad not to in a bushfire and flood prone area, sadly nbn co, optus, vodafone and telstra are clearly incompetent.

Anthony (@AnthonyPHoran) reported@jarro56 @isaacfloyd13 There was bipartisan support for the NDIS & NBN because they were popular as their projected cost were fractions of what they actually became. The NBN could have been delivered by private sector for fraction of cost & is likely to be obsolete in future.

Cdbrown (@BrowntownBrew) reported@basespanker @Batman2242 That was a fttn upgrade with Telco support, but libs called it fraudband due to the minor upgrade so it got scrapped and years later the #nbn was formed to rollout fibre to 93% of premises. LNP got in and decided to do fraudband

And it took 3 months and a really good tech - (who got silenced) to tell me that they had a broken cable on my run and they needed to rerun the cables for about 50 feet. 7 visits I think I have 3 months with nothing before that! And every time it rained, I lost connection for hours I was the middle of the work day. Aussie Broadband were the only ones who kept me sane - NBN itself was (and is) rubbish, but Aussie was amazing.
