Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Richmond Lowlands and nearby locations:

  • fictillius Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@p4ndr_ @NewtonMark @wibbly @NBN_Australia The business model they created was never going to build the network that was promised.

  • TheRobinsfromOz Leonard R. Gregory (@TheRobinsfromOz) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@trevorlong @EFTM That's the NBN problem ..... I'll be 100% wireless once the kids have left home. Cord cutting is the ultimate for me. On device VPN and I can then get it from anywhere in the world.

  • GamingFTWeekend Graeme (@GamingFTWeekend) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So after my internet randomly went down last when @NBN_Australia start doing work in Randwick, the NBN have concluded whatever they did last night in Randwick and the internet should be working. Except it's not. This is not how one is supposed to 'break the internet'...

  • JamesMaccajim James (@JamesMaccajim) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@RantRacing I live a few suburbs away had same problems it’s nbn messing with cables. I thought it was an old computer got a few new ones made no difference. Hard to even watch nsw replays last week.

  • kezz78 Kerrie Barker (@kezz78) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

So I got my @NBN_Australia service installed today. The technician came within the designated time frame, was really nice and installed the cable way quicker than I thought he would. And now I’m getting 44mbps which is exactly 10x faster than what I had on adsl 🎉 @TPG_Telecom

  • GamingFTWeekend Graeme (@GamingFTWeekend) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

My NBN is down. Send halp.

  • jasta07 James Carlton (@jasta07) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@I_Am_Simplex @NBN_Australia Have the same problem. Short answer is, they're trying to shovel ten tons of shit into a one ton bag and the shovel has been sitting out in the rain since 1975.

  • anniepinkstorm AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@fuzzi_mcapples @YaThinkN First thing I did when I got NBN trial connection was get 2nd hand smart TV with streaming apps for Netflix US, Quikflix, iview, etc. Our digital TV service came much later than our FTTP #NBN.

  • stevenbradleyau Steven Bradley (@stevenbradleyau) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia the NBN is down in my street can you please fix it, it’s been down for 2 days. Out of the 6 days we have had it I would say it goes down 35% of the time.

  • TomRagen Tom Ragen (@TomRagen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Telcos @Telstra & @Optus are looking under the lead of the @NBN_Australia to charge people more for the use of streaming videos services! #No! Absolutely not! We are already paying for internet service. If you add this new charges it’s a ***** money grab! #WTF

  • TheRobinsfromOz Leonard R. Gregory (@TheRobinsfromOz) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@EFTM @trevorlong They are 0 and 1 thats it. Just charge those who want streaming at a particular speed more. Thats what every other business in life does. Supply and demand sets the price. NBN is a flawed business model - thats more the issue.

  • meggsie79 MEGAN SAMUEL (@meggsie79) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ernestjpnsw @NBN_Australia @TPG_Telecom Had the same issue with TPG. Switched to Vodafone NBN and much better quality of service

  • atrueblueaussie Shout it👇🏿Out 👇🏿 (@atrueblueaussie) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@GDixon1977 @cscviews Yeo connect your computer to your personal bluetooth hotspot on your mobile and send them the Data bill . We never needed NBN. defunct already .

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@GetUp And fix the bloody NBN

  • pfbt Marquis d'Killara (@pfbt) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

While gov’t bodies force more & more transactions online while offering no alternative, there will be many who will not be able to afford the NBN (some effing service .. not) @NBNAustralia

  • anniepinkstorm AnnieLWells (@anniepinkstorm) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@PaulFletcherMP With the FTTP NBN this was a non issue as NTU was the modem. They ordered in bulk identical units for everyone on FTTP.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

To clarify - @NBN_Australia should not care what is encapsulated inside the layer 2 frames that pass over their network. Even if they were a layer 3 construct (so interested in IP transit), the contents of the packets they'd be responsible for should not concern them.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@1n9r1d @davidlamond ......and weep. But now not happy with stuffing up our NBN, the LNP wont sell it, or reduce costs to providers, so we have crap speeds, high cost, & more LNP Government tinkering.....WATFJ👎🏽👎🏿👎🏻💩💩💩

  • bookman2805 Andrew (@bookman2805) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia It would be nice if you can fix your crap internet service before you start charging ridiculous fees

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@abc730 Yep & take anything up to 47 days, to connect to existing connection....and you have no option & not even an agreement with NBN, you have to deal with a provider......so the blame game continues. Cost to fix, billions & billions......thanks Abbott and MT with help from Murdoch 💩

NBN Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ezythaiger ezythaiger (@ezythaiger) reported

@Telstra Tried on the phone ,went down to the shop ,then got called back and was being sold nbn from a guy in Indian wind tunnel.

  • dotnetshadow DotnetShadow (@dotnetshadow) reported

@Optus This is definitely an NBN issue, my router / modem works perfectly. 100Mbps download but only 2Mbps upload. At 10am it was 38Mbps, at 1:30PM 0.5Mbps. So definitely a congestion issue!

  • fidzeh GG | fidzeh (@fidzeh) reported

@TPG_Telecom Yeah, I didnt think there is any issue within the NBN itself, as I have speedtest and all is ok with any other thing except connecting to call of duty warzone games, only able to start testing since 5pm, have restarted router, even re-installing the game, turns out its TPG issue

  • just_brash Justin Brash (@just_brash) reported

@tanya_plibersek @MarionGroves And yet Natasha got her job from home via a substandard NBN, without the need of taxpayer support. “Stott Despoja was elected to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, becoming the first Australian member in 28 year”

  • Emma_Dunn Emma Dunn (@Emma_Dunn) reported

@NBN_Australia hello, how can we get an NBN related issue escalated ASAP? Issues since 5/10, daily complaints to Provider for 7wks now, no NBN technician has come to resolve the issue. Need help ASAP, severely impacting ability to run business. HELP!

  • _lemyth Le Myth (@_lemyth) reported

@lumandai @Telstra I'd also check NBN Co's outage list (since apparently Telstra shows only Telstra outages for some weird reason)

  • RichardOnlineC1 ⛄️🌈 (@RichardOnlineC1) reported

The dodgy @NBN_Australia has just come on after an outage lasting from around 8pm last night. Clunky, hopeless shadow of @MrKRudd 's inspiration wrecked by a succession of clunky, hopeless @lnp meddlers. This should be a warning to prospective rural subscribers. #auspol

  • Blunt34359704 Blunt (@Blunt34359704) reported

@kaz_neena NBN a shamble can't video conference.. Damn that fttn!

  • naomi_h Naomi (@naomi_h) reported

@NBN_Australia Please make a proper statement informing people of what the issues are with the NBN. Lack of communication is frustrating for consumers and ISP. We have no internet or phone in our home which is relied upon for a small business as well as family health concerns.

  • EbooksTim TimLChan Ebooks - EbooksTim (@EbooksTim) reported

5Gb data is $20 M2M and no nbn service because one of us.
