NBN Issues Reports Near Richmond Lowlands, State of New South Wales

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Richmond Lowlands and nearby locations:

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@trevorlong To be fair, they had to offer 40% additional CVC bandwidth, and streaming providers have cut the visual quality of their product to help the NBN cope. Whilst a lot of the problems with the NBN are not actually @NBN_Australia's fault, they do get a lot wrong.

  • Tiim_ Timothy Harrison 🤙 (@Tiim_) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Quality is still better than my @NBN_Australia service.

  • MikeySlezak Michael Slezak (@MikeySlezak) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NickEvershed Countdown until NBN help tweets you with inane comment...

  • VasquezMcWong Democracy Manifest (@VasquezMcWong) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@EVERALDATLARGE It was always going to be shit with the commercial model and nulber of POIs. Turnbull added an extra dimension of shitness by insisting on reusing dilapidated access infrastructure... at least Rudds shitful NBN concept had some scope for upgrades.

  • jayohaychen john foster (@jayohaychen) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Hey @NBN_Australia I hope no one removes your internet connection today without letting you know in advance. That would really be unfortunate. A 9.5 hr outage on a Friday would kill productivity.

  • theorangepeach Defeated Furby (@theorangepeach) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@joshh_dp @daddy_no_ It also done within minutes if you already have NBN - whether it’s node, curb, hfc or fibre - a decent ISP (like AussieBB) can have your service activated within the hour. Fibre just means you can have more than one service at once

  • CSK_free7spirit yttukina 2.0 (@CSK_free7spirit) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia Hey @VodafoneAU we are down with internet for the past two days. .and trying to reach your customer service for he past two days with no real outcome.have been on call for 3 hours with no one attending our call.stresses us out as we cant work from home.

  • petehanssens Peter Hanssens (@petehanssens) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@mattgillard @Aussie_BB Yep, the customer service person just said that I was one of the 30% of households that can’t get more than 100mb/s via the @NBN_Australia

  • DeanCal Dean O'Callaghan (@DeanCal) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@NBN_Australia I got a text from Telstra to say theres an outage in the area so looks like it's a known issue and is being worked on

  • CSK_free7spirit yttukina 2.0 (@CSK_free7spirit) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

  • the_cooling Andrew Cooling (@the_cooling) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra another Foxtel / @NBN_Australia outage in Paddington, NSW. 3rd one in 2 months and expected fix date is Wednesday! Please help 🙏🏼

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Typical. @NBN_Australia connection down since 4:34pm. Now we have a "Scheduled Outage" from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. Conveniently, this stops any "unscheduled outage " timers they might be measured against...

  • DeanCal Dean O'Callaghan (@DeanCal) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Telstra hi! My NBN service has been down the last 2 hours in Randwick and your outage map doesnt work either when I try that!

  • PSkip38 Paul Skip (@PSkip38) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@SBSNews Sorry, but Labor's history has been to take the Communist money both for party and individual funding. Nbn angry of those officials are either very naive or rediculous stupid. You receive monies, your support is expected.

  • fictillius 🦠 Evan (@fictillius) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@ajpalm Nearly all the users I support are on the NBN and across all the fixed technology types. A few were on ADSL and we’ve moved them across to NBN. HFC has some known issues that need fixing but that’s an organisational problem not a problem with the technology.

  • mikeaubrey2 🇦🇺mikeaubrey🏳️‍🌈 (@mikeaubrey2) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@MeckeringBoy @SammieMacM @abcnews It's overpriced, it's not worth $51+bn, it's overvalued, taxpayers pay twice because NBN force RSP's to pay too much, it's too slow, it takes too long to get connected, all thanks to LNP & Murdoch......LNP should have butted out & the "most recent" Minister is out of touch 👎🏾👎🏽👎🏿

  • _MaverickGeorge G. 🌈❤️☮️ (@_MaverickGeorge) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@Optus hi my nbn is down again this morning. You’re not showing any outages though. It’s becoming a bit of a joke - never know when it’s going to be working.

  • trevorlong Trevor Long (@trevorlong) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@peterp79 @Aussie_BB @Telstra @NBN_Australia Also, 25 is minimum - so you should be getting 22 ish... plug a laptop INTO the modem and do a speed test. WIFI is probably what’s slowing you down too

  • thepatrick Patrick Quinn-Graham 🏳️‍🌈 (@thepatrick) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

Oh good. Yet another 9 hour outage window for “scheduled maintenance” where the notification arrives after the internet has already gone down. Sure would be nice if @NBN_Australia didn’t do maintenance during the hours most people work.

  • manaz_d Robert Hudson (@manaz_d) reported from Sydney, State of New South Wales

@hipstergeddon @gusworldau @NBN_Australia The issue there is that no end-user is actually a direct customer of NBN. RSPs are NBN's customers. End-users are the RSP's customers.

  • SimonCopland Simon Copland (@SimonCopland) reported

Internet friends, please help. We are on the NBN and have downloads speeds of 51mbps and upload speeds of 18.55mbps. However, streaming is super slow, particularly when connecting to our TV. Any idea what might be going on?

  • Parrafan Terry Noble (@Parrafan) reported

@NBN_Australia You don’t know of the major outage, that’s embarrassing for you.

  • _shanmoho The Peanut Gallery (@_shanmoho) reported

Hey @NBN_Australia when will my service on the Central Coast be restored?

  • Aussie__Andrew Andrew 🇦🇺 (@Aussie__Andrew) reported

@NBN_Australia @Parrafan Mines still out, @Telstra said it is nbn problem not a telstra one

  • colonelhogans Rick (@colonelhogans) reported

@NBN_Australia I’ve checked! NBN says there is a major outage. Not service providers!

  • SElizaP 🐨 ♀️ Susan the Evil One 😷 (@SElizaP) reported

@victorklineTNL @MrKRudd @TurnbullMalcolm I hope youre right. Speaking of blocking, I would love it if Malcom would unblock me on Twitter. He blocked me b4 2013 election because I tried to point out his NBN plan was a terrible idea. I lost faith in him then. Check my feed I'm never abusive.

  • Optus Optus (@Optus) reported

@SumiWumi Our technicians are already aware of this and are working with NBN to fix it as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there is no time frame for resolution at the moment. Apologies for the inconvenience. Kartik

  • SumiWumi Sumi (@SumiWumi) reported from Melbourne, State of Victoria

@Optus your NBN in Toorak Vic is horrible! I have had to reset the modem atleast 10 times - dial up in third world countries gives better network! And conveniently Sunday there is no help

  • Aussie__Andrew Andrew 🇦🇺 (@Aussie__Andrew) reported

@NBN_Australia what is happening with the internet and home lines in the blue haven and San remo area of the Central Coast NSW. Its has been out since 8am yesterday. You or @Telstra have done nothing to notify your customers. What us the problem, when will it be fixed

  • noskap Tom Porter Bridges (@noskap) reported

@NBN_Australia are you kidding? I have to use a 4g sim card for my home wifi because you can't make any more of the magic nbn boxes. And you're telling me it's the service providers fault?
